The visual style caught my eye and I got quite immersed in the plot after playing for a while. The music and whole climate is really on point, so I can definitelly recommend checking it out!
Super wciągająca historia, z przyjemnością chłonie się jej klimat. Czekam na DLC!
I highly recommend this game to any gamer looking for a fantastic experience. The gameplay is incredibly engaging and the story is truly captivating. It's one of the best games I've played in a long time and I can't wait to see what's next. A must-play for anyone looking for a great game.

Simply saying, the game is blatantly satysfying. Not to mention pretty, hand-drawn art, but also the music is calming and immersively providing the feeling of diving down into the story. One can say it's another visual novel, so what's the deal? The deal is, that if you are not a visual novel fan, then you'll find yourself a neat entrance into the world of such genre in this game - throughout the extraordinary approach to the mechanics. And if you are a visual novel fan, then you'll encounter a pequliar, not typical development and solution that could truly surprise you.
WARNING: Quick mention of self-deleting. If you're ever within the spectrum, please don't continue reading.

After a couple of tries I can't think of any reason to be playing this game. I knew before coming into this that this would be a story about a character with an unfortunate life situation, but I didn't think it would be this rough. A lot of them unnecessarily so. Ever since my first playthrough, I've been left feeling flabbergasted from witnessing a character who I just met, mind you, commit suicide out of the blue all because I ignored them for a day. Not really on purpose; I kind of forgotten about them until the last minute, but you get my point: this game is cruel for no reason. Even when you think you may hopefully get a happy ending, it gives you the middle finger. So I ask myself, what's the point? As this is a game with a lot of secrets to uncover, every time I try to engage with it, there's always an excuse to delay it for no reason other than saving it for the sequel, it seems. By the end of the game, you are left with more and more unanswered questions in each playthrough, not only about the game itself but also about the dev decisions to make the game the way it is. Like, why put all eggs in one basket if that was the case of answering all the questions in the sequel? Why not answer some of them now? Give players some ideas of what's happening so they can be excited to play the next game, instead of making them spectate while being confused about the whole situation that revolves around the narrative.
Polecam gierkę a developerom życzę powodzenia i samych sukcesów.
For a game to be called “Your Story” one should expect a good amount of choices that allow you to branch the story into something that you can truly call your own. While there is a decent amount of options there are also a bunch of faux choices where the game literally tells you that you can’t do that and puts you back at the choice screen and makes you choose another, sometimes the only other choice. This happened enough that I found it annoying. The story otherwise is pretty good until the end. The story introduces a lot of intrigue with very little explanation and then sets itself up for a sequel without answering much. This seemed lazy. It’s one thing to end on a cliffhanger but it’s another to do that and make some drastic changes to the story arc without properly explaining how it came to be. That being said the ending did leave me wanting to know more so while I’m a bit angry over how things were handled they at least kept me interested. I did enjoy Hilda; Mohon; Henrietta; and some other characters so there was reason to be invested. The game being told as you not being in full control of Lia was an interesting one. The music was well done, especially the scene where Lia sings a song which was fantastic. The UI was well done and is more unique than many games in this genre. The art was great and while the game lacked the animations that other visual novels offer I didn’t mind as the art and detail were better than many of them. Oh and it was kind of weird to have a character named “babushka lady” that doesn’t actually wear a babushka. Just saying. I played Your Story on Linux. The first time I played the game it crashed on launch but the developers fixed this issue with a patch. After that there were still a few hiccups such as the game froze once and I noticed five spelling errors. You can save whenever you want and there are fifty four save slots. Game Engine: Ren’Py 8.0.3.22090809 Graphics API: OpenGL Game Version Played: 1.1 Disk Space Used: 1.9GB GPU Usage: 0-99 % VRAM Usage: 1185-2429 MB CPU Usage: 1-8 % RAM Usage: 3.2-3.9 GB Overall this wasn’t a bad game but the technical issues combined with the faux choices and lack of detail in the final twists of the game make me unable to recommend it. I paid 10 Euros for it as a Kickstarter backer and finished my first play through in two hours and thirty nine minutes. My Score: 6.5/10 My System: Intel i5-12600K | 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 | XFX RX 590 8GB Fat Boy | Mesa 23.1.1 | Western Digital Black SN850 500GB | Garuda | Mate 1.26.0 | Kernel 6.3.6-zen1-1-zen
I don't think I can really recommend this. Your Story absolutely has some good moments. The art, if you ignore the atrocious, graphic novel-esque intermediary segments and focus on the sprites and CGs, is absolutely lovely, as is the music. There's also a certain amount of intrigue despite the game being translated by someone who is clearly not a native English speaker. My issue is that, after exhausting what I feel like would be most potential routes, I simply cannot seem to progress further than the surprisingly intense (if not out of left field, if you didn't reach a very early alternative, anyway) bad ending that everyone else seems to get stuck at. I can only guess that either I'm missing something or the game desperately wants to railroad me into romancing Meamir, a character I could not possibly have less interest in. I also have to admit I'm not super keen on what looks to be an Assassin's Creed style setup (specifically the whole historical simulation aspect), but I don't really feel I can fully judge, either, not without seeing the other half of the story I can't reach. If anyone has a guide, please let me know; I'd at least like to see the real ending regardless if my opinions change or not.
Mocno tajemnicza i wciągająca opowieść.
