one of the best, if not most uncomfortable, depictions of dissociation in any media i've seen
Итог: You Will (Not) Remain подойдёт любителям атмосферного психологического хоррора и медитативного исследования загадочных миров. Она впечатляет настроением и глубиной символики, но может разочаровать тех, кто ждёт активного геймплея, линейного сюжета или однозначных ответов.

short entertaining story game. Rare gem.
Its neat
the music, visuals and atmosphere really sell the "you're alone" vibe, there's nothing nicer than to chill in your balcony while looking at the horrors beyond your comprehension this was made in 48 hours for a game jam and it's always nice to find projects like these, even if short they can convey a lot that being said, by making this a negative review im not saying it's bad, im not saying not to download it, but i AM saying it's a 30-minute experience with 0 context that doesnt reach deeply into the themes it's even supposed to be exploring, and in the end you're left with... nothing. no closure on what happened before or after and not even during the events, no real information about the world or what happened to it, who "she" is, nor how the ourple kaiju apparently ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up everything yet you can look at it and stay in rooftops without anything happening to you.
was lambshank infected? they had to be, but what does that actually mean? and why does it matter? they "save" the protagonist from going outside, so are the radio messages a bait from the monster/infection? is lambshank part of the monster and wants to spiral the player deeper into their depressive episode? what happened to the animals in the last radio signal? are they all infected? or is that bait to get the player into distrusting lambshank and trying to escape? but if the radio signals ARE a bait, then what happened to everyone else? the main character is isolated from their neighbors, yet knows they left one by one... did they stay because they were waiting for "her" to come back? but she DID come back, just with the possibility that she was infected... or was she? and then she... disappears forever? and life turns repetitive, being a cycle of self-isolation and circumstance-imposed loneliness, but the possibility of a threat still feels debatable. "dont let them in", "dont look outside" (let's ignore for a moment that we can stay outside in balconies and rooftops because i guess the infection considers those places "inside" enough). also the "monster over the city" has a cool and creepy design, but that's pretty much everything about it.
like other negative reviews have said, the "issues" are treated in such a shallow manner, with isolation being "im so lonely" and depression being "im so sad", never actually knowing how or why we should even feel that way in the first place, and never giving information about how we even got there. playing this game felt like asking someone's what's wrong and them just dramatically staring off onto the distance saying "it's nothing", and you KNOW everything about them says they're not fine, but everytime you try to get them to open up they're just vague and abstract, not turning you down but also not helping you help them. like wanting to get better, but refusing every chance to, because clinging onto bad feelings feels more comfortable and it's what you're used to. im guessing this was made thinking about the covid pandemic and the global lockdown, but it's so shallow and basic you'd have to purposely think about the pandemic to think that's were it's getting at. and even thinking about it, i still dont get what it's trying to convey. isolation. depression. neglecting yourself knowing there's no escape and you're probably gonna die anyway. but it's strange when there is nothing to escape from. or maybe there is, and i just dont understand it. because there IS a threat that the player is trying to stay safe from. because there IS a threat, right?? right??? who knows, maybe i would have enjoyed this game if i had played it while in a depressive episode, i'd relate to the theming faster no matter how shallowly it was taken. but if i was in a depressive episode i just wouldnt play a game that gets me to dissociate more than i already was. man i dont know im rambling at this point
不懂英语,说不定是个好故事呢
Short, simple, would have been more interesting if the story was explored on a deeper level but it's more than okay for a game jam.
This is such a beautiful game. The way you can absolutely feel what the character feels even if no past information, like who is "she", is provided is such an amazing detail. I love the art, the lilac colour and the character's personality, it highkey reminds me of my partner. I would play it again over and over when I feel like I'm alone.
an interesting short game. also the doggo is a good boy. or girl. I dunno which one it was.
Wonderful short gem of a game, if you've got half an hour, give it a try :)
