Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's not an easy game if your laptop is old like mine. It is beatable though. Only thing I dislike is that whenever a teammate dies, you do NOT get all the ammo you acquired as that character but only start out as a new character with limited ammo. You do get the guns though. With the lack of in game saving, I rate this game 3.5/5
https://youtu.be/r9bmDozudlA Building off the familiar narrative hooks of the source inspiration but bringing new mechanics and systems to refresh the borrowed ideas.
"You Will Die Here Tonight" is a really incredible game that makes me wonder *why* we don't have more games with this gameplay. I really enjoyed the Isometric view blending into First-Person view, fights that are based on precision and reflexes and not dodging... The game is Short, but it's packed with good ideas and cool moments. I do believe the price is a bit steep, but I bought it on sales and I do not regret it at all. People saying it is a Die and Retry are wrong, it didn't feel like that at all to me. Yes sometimes some actions required to advance the story will kill you, but that's the whole point of the game : you have to switch characters to use all their abilities. So don't be afraid by that : that's not a rogue lite, Monsters are sometimes spawning to surprise you but they are NOT respawning, and the game isn't really hard once you understood its basic mechanics. Even bosses that may look hard or unfair do not get their health back : so you'll end up killing them eventually ! Don't be afraid ! :D

What a fun and unique game! The devs took Resident Evil Gaiden, made it good, while also adding a character switch mechanic that does not exactly punish death, and in fact, encourages it at certain points. Premise is that a special forces team of 6 goes to a secluded mansion(it is going to be quite familiar to us Arklay Mansion enjoyers) in upper NY to find a person of interest. When you get there, all 6 of you get knocked out and you take control of one person, progress through a prologue of sorts and then you basically restart and the game starts proper. When your character dies, you can select a new character, go to their body and get your stuff back. Each character has specific skills and quests that unlock either permanent buffs for the whole team or unlock lore/context/endings. I won't spoil anymore but suffice to say, escaping the mansion is just the start if you want to dig deep. Gameplay is a somewhat top down view like RE Gaiden, and combat switches to a first person mode where you can manually aim in an enclosed combat arena. It's a really neat twist and makes things fairly tense when you're surrounded all sides. There's your standard variety of guns and they work as you'd expect. Add in puzzles, deathtraps and hidden shortcuts, and you have a great RE-style game. All in all, very good game from a small studio. A great twist on traditional survival horror while also being a great homage to Resident Evil 1. Absolutely recommend for fans of survival horror or even mystery games. Can't wait to see what the devs do next!
You Will Die Here Tonight seamlessly fuses top-down exploration with visceral, arcade-style first-person shooting to revitalise classic survival horror tropes. Navigating through the haunting corridors of Breckenridge Estate forces players to manage scarce ammunition and first-aid supplies while uncovering a dark biological weapons plot involving corporate simulation protocols. Shifting perspective dynamically into first-person combat when encountering infected monsters creates an engaging contrast with isometric environmental navigation. Blasting through threats with shotguns, magnums, submachine guns, and grenade launchers delivers weighty audio and visual feedback that rewards precise marksmanship during tense encounters. Permadeath mechanics organically shift control to surviving squad members whenever an officer perishes, carrying over key inventory items and narrative progress. Discovering that these character deaths and meta-textual loops actively recontextualise the overarching mystery transforms early survival panic into a structured, highly engaging investigation. Nostalgic puzzle design emulates classic nineties conventions by requiring players to collect specific keys and solve intricate environmental emblem puzzles. While mathematical clues occasionally feel overly explicit, searching interconnected mansion corridors for hidden pathways keeps the momentum steady despite occasional navigational backtracking. Fixed movement speeds across different squad members introduce noticeable pacing variations when transitioning between faster and slower officers. Unforgiving boss encounters rely on trial-and-error damage patterns that can cause sudden fatalities, though mastering workbench shortcuts and permanent weapon upgrades drastically improves survival odds. Clean pixel-art environments merge effortlessly with detailed three-dimensional transitions to maintain visual clarity throughout intense multi-enemy battles. Ambient horror soundscapes and evolving character commentary reinforce a creepy atmosphere, ensuring frame rates remain rock solid even during dramatic environmental lighting changes. Overall, workbench tuning and permanent weapon enhancements transform early survival tension into a fast-paced, deeply satisfying campaign conclusion. Navigating squad permadeath loops alongside arcade shooting mechanics delivers a refreshing hybrid design that constantly rewards clever spatial management and methodical resource conservation.
Picked it up on sale for $6 and some change and so far I've ben getting my moneys worth out of it. Combat isn't to difficult once you get a feel for timings. The writing is very cheesy but I feel thats part of the charm. I'm not finished with the story itself, as it seems the final boss fight isn't the ending proper but I've had a lot of fun. There were some cheap deaths my first time through that were very frustrating, but all in all still worth the money. Worth $20 full price? Maybe? Absolutely worth picking up when it goeson sale though.
