Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Two unlikely treasure hunters retell the story of their greatest adventure; how they crashed their ship, discovered perhaps the most valuable book in the universe only for its Pagies to be stolen by a greedy capitalist, Capital B. Step into a wacky adventure across many fantastical and imaginative worlds, full of colourful characters and vault-loads of shiny collectibles and save the world!

THE STORY RETOLD – Here come the cheeky embellishments as Yooka and Laylee recall the story of their adventure! The story is unravelled in a brand-new story book style presentation with new sequence introduced throughout the game!
DOUBLE THE CHALLENGES & PAGIES – New areas have been added; brand-new challenges have been introduced and old ones improved or replaced completely. Collectibles have been rearranged across all levels and the number of discoverable Pagies has been doubled!
GAMEPLAY OVERHAUL – The moveset has been tweaked, sharpened and upgraded, including all new moves and combos for a flowing, expressive style of platforming. New camera features and refinements make framing the action a breeze too.
REXTRO BYTES BACK – 2 games in 1! Take control of Rextro in his very own isometric platforming game for shiny rewards! Find hidden arcade games throughout the adventure and take on the puzzles, platforms and pests that he must overcome to become a video game hero himself!
NEW COLLECTIBLE CURRENCY – Introducing Q.U.I.D.S! Capital B's inept minions have dropped their hard-earned coins all over the place. Collect the official currency of the Hivory Towers to spend on video games' most beloved sentient vending machine. Or undertake one of Coinelius’ many mini-challenges!
NAVIGATING THE WORLD – The all-new adventurers’ notebook will help you hunt down EVERYTHING hidden in the game. Plus find bookmarks to fast-travel around and never get lost! Use your Q.U.I.D.S to buy hints to the whereabouts of more challenges – can you find all 300 magical Pagies!?
VENDI HAS PLENTY TO OFFER – Tonics are back with all new flavours! With the option to equip multiple game-changing enhancements, you can truly customise and perk your playstyle. And as if that wasn't enough you can dress to impress!, Vendi has new lines of merchandise for the modern fashionable adventurer too.
A DREAMY ORCHESTRAL SOUNDTRACK – The original score from famed video game composers David Wise (Donkey Kong Country), Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie), Steve Burke (Kameo: Elements of Power) returns but as a beautifully arranged orchestral score with some new tracks from, Dan Murdoch and Matt Griffin. Now seriously, clean out those ears.

I enjoyed this game quite well, but it was also rather short compared to the games it's inspired by like Banjo Kazooie.
A notable step up from the original. If you enjoyed the original at all, then this will be a great experience for a replay.
Good fun time. Collect everything number go up
Looks nicer and controls better than the original but I think they made things too easy this time around. 7/10
This is an absolutely wonderfully done remake! Now, for the record, I was one of the few who still enjoyed the original Yooka-Laylee despite its flaws (and yes, being one of its Kickstarter backers did likely contribute to that bias...) but there's no denying that this version is such an all-around improvement in just about every area that it makes the original genuinely obsolete! Just about all of the most common criticisms of the original version are addressed here. You can now fast travel in the worlds, there's no more forced backtracking thanks to all moves being given from the start, the story is more fleshed-out thanks to an extended tutorial sequence, the dialogue is less ear-grating due to the voice clips being shortened, and thanks to Playtonic having a much stronger grasp of Unity than they did the first time around, the levels all feel so much more lively! If you enjoyed the original, you'll likely enjoy this remake even more. If you didn't, please give this version a shot! It just might change your mind!
Yooka Replaylee looks, feels and plays like a game that finally shed it's hangups about being a spiritual successor to the, much beloved, collectathon series featuring a certain bear and bird and has found it's own voice and identity. Everything about it is an improvement over the original release and I'd highly recommend anyone who tried that one to give this one a shot. Hopefully Playtonic can now start spreading their wings a little and come up with some games beyond Yooka Laylee now too.
After becoming a Backer of the Kickstarter, I REALLY wanted to love Yooka-Laylee. But having reached and lost to Capital B, I walked away disappointed; and I didn't even look at Yooka-Replaylee when it was released. With the upcoming release on Evercade of BK and BT though, I thought I'd give Yooka-Laylee a second go. Then I realised what Yooka-Replaylee was; and that YL owners got a 30% discount; so I bought and started playing the revision instead. My GOODNESS am I glad I did! Yes it has difficulty spikes; but to me it is what the original should have been; and all-in-all I've enjoyed it at least as much as Banjo Kazooie.

This is the most side-grade of a remaster ever. It kind of feels like the 'New Game+' of a game, like the second playthrough that barely has anything changed. It's still the same kinda fun Yooka-Laylee, but with like... a couple more enemies sprinkled in, and you get dumped with a crapton of abilities from the start instead of unlocking them gradually.
