Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well its short, I give it that. It basically is like a dozen or so scenes in total and some of the item combinations are stupid but not entirely moon logic. The story could be good, if actually a good writer would rewrite it and draw it out by like 3x the length. No seriously, I normally hate games that are too long but this one misses every single beat in its story because of how abrupt and fast everything happens. Well right now it costs less than 1 CHF so I guess its fair and don't expect to much or are not that good in Adventure games but its not really worth it.
It's structurally ultimately a Broken Sword clone, at least in terms of the way the story functions, but there's a bunch of weird things in it that also differentiate it as its own odd experience. The plot does a total curveball with a bizarre twist at the beginning that totally caught me off guard, and I then I realized why the game was called "Yesterday" around halfway through. As a point-and-click puzzle game, it's sufficient, with some really clever puzzles and some nonsensical ones. This game is a joke if you use the hint system since it will tell you exactly where to go and what to do. The game doesn't have the more challenging non-"put this here and there" puzzles you'd see in a game like Broken Sword's director's cut, so really you can brute force most of the puzzles. There were a few where I had that "Eureka!" moment I get in games like Leisure Suit Larry, but a lot were just totally nonsensical. At one point you use a fireproof blanket to get through a fire and I don't even know if the game told me it was fireproof. The graphics are "bleh" in my opinion. Even though I don't mind those low poly poser-3D models, it just looks really dated. The music and voice work is great, though, and after playing for a while I stopped noticing the graphics and just focused on the game play and story. While the story has some cool twists and turns, I could never get past the fact that it was just transforming into a "Broken Sword" clone, with everything from a murder mystery in France to a plot term with Templars in Scotland. Why did the game feel the need to do this? The intro with a bunch of hobos being murdered in the subway was much more interesting, and I wish it would have kept to that thread instead of trying to copy a superior game. Also, some of the items are never used, while others are used in flashbacks or jumps forward, so it doesn't have the "inventory tightness" of the best games in this genre. Still, there's quite a bit of cleverness and fun to be had, so as a budget adventure game it's fantastic.
**A short but enjoyable point-and-click adventure.** I had a good time with *Yesterday*. It’s not a masterpiece or anything mind-blowing, but it’s a fun little adventure that does a good job of keeping you entertained. The story is interesting, the atmosphere is nice, and the puzzles are enjoyable without being too frustrating. My only real complaint is that the game feels **way too short**. Just when I was getting into it, it was already over. I definitely wouldn’t have complained if it had been a few hours longer. Still, if you enjoy classic point-and-click adventures and want something you can finish in a short time, *Yesterday* is worth a try. Nothing revolutionary, but a pleasant way to spend a few hours. **Recommended 👍** **7/10**
