Fun game, but has too many bugs to recommend, as some people already said, you lose money, your ship, menu is not optimized, the most challenging thing to me is the menus in between the levels, hard to choose the right option and building your ship often goes wrong, no way to remove blocks and often weird placements, I like the way you move through the level, but I wish it had more immersion (e.a. the sides next to the level could have been more in line with the theme of the level at that moment, the funky voxel graphics look charming and take me back to when I was playing on my NES and Commador, but this game has some work to be done in order to be even playable, my mind says play it, but the game breaking bugs make me refuse to play. I hope they will do something about the state of the game.
Vergognoso.

it's a fun game. they still need to fix some glitches but it's a nice experience that you can play for the most part with one hand. i would like to have the option to play seated and adjust my height and i really want the placement to be better on the oculus controller. the ship is angled very strangely. but overall it's a good game that is kind of unique.
Great idea, and probably would be good. If it wasn't a buggy mess with limited mechanics.
Xion is Red Alarm the way the devs of Red Alarm wanted Red Alarm to be but didn't have the tech to make it happen. If you're not 35, you might not know what Red Alarm was. It was THE BEST GAME on Nintendo's Virtual Boy system. For me, Red Alarm was the ONLY reason to own a Virtual Boy, and boy did I own one. I was obsessed with everything virtual, and I had every Virtual Boy game except for Waterworld, and flying through corridors and caves shooting enemies with my ship in Red Alarm was the best fun to be had in the red and black virtual world of 1995. Xion feels like the spiritual successor to Red Alarm, and it is even more fun. I've only got a half hour of playtime on record with Xion, but I didn't even need that to know that this game was for me. Just the promo video on the store page gripped me with immesurable nostalgia. Xion is a shmup in VR with custom ship building. What more could you ask for? This game kicks ass.
Génial ! Pour un 'Vieux' comme moi quel pied de me retrouver à l'intèrieur d'un bon vieux Shoot'em up !
cheese
weak
Although the game is very fun, it offers no save feature. People who experience motion sickness from VR can forget about finishing this fun experience.
