Wytchwood

Wytchwood is a visually stunning game that, as a self-proclaimed lover of silly little tasks, I had a really good time with. It very much evokes the feeling of being in a fairy tale with gathering things to brew magical potions to solve a problem and/or deliver a comeuppance and darker undertones, in addition to the overt references (albeit with their own spin).

Very fun! Took me around 11 hours to complete. Some places are a bit frustrating in terms of nested fetch quests (I need a smoke bomb to kill a mosquito to turn into an ingredient to make a snare to get a pumpkin bone to make a potion to make another potion) but in general if you collect extras of things when you're already in the area, it's not too bad. I was very very impressed by how the maps were laid out overall; the quick travel locations were almost always near the things I needed to get to quickly. This is not a game where you're running aimlessly for five minutes to get somewhere. The art is lovely, and the story is fun. I didn't actually see the ending coming; what I expected was not what happened! I do recommend this game.

J'ai beaucoup aimé y jouer comme jeu cosy et la fin m'a fait sourire. C'était amusant de découvrir de nouveaux décors, de nouvelles recettes, mais cela peut vite devenir déplaisant de faire plusieurs aller et retour alors ne vous prenez pas la tête, ne faite pas tout d'un coup, prenez le temps de collecter de nombreuses ressources dans chaque biome et ça sera un vrai parcours de santé ! Les petits épisodes contes sont chouettes à repérer et j'ai prit mon temps pour le faire et apprécier la D.A. Bref, un bon moment, je vous le conseil !

I loved this game as the kind of player who collects everything interactable; you should always pick up as much of each ingredient or item as possible in this game to reduce backtracking as much as possible, like never just grab 10 of anything if you can stand to grab 30 because everything craftable will be needed multiple times throughout the story.

Such a wonderful game!, the art, the story, the characters are all so fun!, the ending was such a twist I didn't see coming!!! which is pretty hard to do for me so I really enjoyed being taken by surprise. If someone you know loves cute cozy almost "puzzle" like games where you collect items and craft to solve items GET THIS FOR THEM its SOOOOO FUN!! and its almost always on sale
