For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Become the 2020 WRC Champion!
WRC 9 is the leading off-road simulation franchise endorsed by the world's top drivers. It is the most in-depth rally game on the market: 3 new rallies (Kenya, Japan, New Zealand), over 15 classic cars and 100 special stages to tackle! WRC 9 has new game modes specially designed for the community, including a Clubs system where each player can create their own championship and compete in it online with the rest of the world! Take control of all official drivers and cars in 3 WRC categories with improved physics for even greater realism, redesigned environments and all-new pacenotes for total immersion. Follow My Review Group Here! 💾Graphics - WRC 9 has pretty decent visuals. Stages look detailed and immersive, and car models also look solid. The UI is okay. Some people complain about the UI in this game, but I never really had issues with it. My biggest complaint is the lighting. I feel like the lighting just looks flat and bland. I am playing on max settings with a HDR OLED screen and I thought that would really make the visuals and colors pop well here, but everything just looks meh. The image is sharp and the game looks fine, it’s just the lighting. It’s not game breaking or a serious problem, just something I noticed. Besides that complaint, the game looks fine. 🎮Gameplay - If you played WRC 8, it’s basically the same game with some improvements. You have two career mode types. One with Team management, and the other only focusing on the rallies. You also have your standard quick rally stages as well you can do if you don’t wanna play the career mode. WRC 9 offers tons of fun and technical stages along with some cool classic cars, and the 2020 WRC lineup. The driving in this game is amazing! You gain such a strong confidence while rallying in these modern WRC cars. Tarmac and gravel both have a big change in feel and to me, it feels pretty natural and realistic. Yeah it’s not Richard Burns rally or Assetto Corsa Rally levels of realism, but it does a great job as a “Simcade”. WRC 9 also offers a pretty solid tire wear and damage system. This is really fun to experience on multiple rally sessions. It provides a solid tire strategy and being cautious when going flat out. Overall this gameplay section does feel like a step up compared to WRC 9. 🎭Multiplayer - Unfortunately the online servers are not here anymore. This sadly means that you can’t compete times anymore with online players or even use the online leaderboards. In my opinion this kinda takes away the fun of the game in some way, and like a lot of the game modes and mechanics that are online focused, are now useless. 🕛Playtime - This game may take around 20+ hours to compete. It’s not a long game and the achievements are kinda easy to get as well. Since the online services are no more, it kinda takes away some of the replayability for me since I can’t see online leaderboards. 🎧Sound - Sound design in this game just as bad as every other WRC game out there. I don’t know why they don’t put care into the audio in these games. We all want to hear a nice sounding engine, or at least make them sound somewhat realistic to their real life counterparts. The audio for the cars are just meh at best. The EA WRC games and Dirt franchise can do audio design so much better than these developers can ever do. Just a shame to see to be honest. ❗Bugs❗- I haven’t really encountered many bugs or issues with this game thankfully. 🔅Performance - Performance is really good. I was playing this on 1600p on ultra settings and was getting around 150-200+ FPS. Also no stutters or crashes. ✔️Pro’s✔️

Solid visuals
Photo mode
Many rally locations
Tire wear model is good
Informative damage system
Stages are technical & detailed
Physics feel amazing & challenging
Career mode & Team management returns
Car tuning has two settings (Classic & Advance)
❌Con’s❌

Sound design is subpar
Historic cars don’t feel good to drive
Online connection error after every rally
Can’t compete with quick rally times online anymore
Servers are shutdown (No more weekly and daily challenges)
🏆Rating - 7.5/10 🔗Conclusion - WRC 9 is a really solid title in the WRC lineup. My biggest gripe is the loss of online servers, making the online leaderboards and competitive side of the game completely gone. Luckily the physics, track selection and a pretty decent car variety for the 2020 WRC makes up for it in some way. I would rate this a 8/10 if the servers were still up, but since that’s not here, the game kinda got boring after beating the career mode. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1267540/WRC_9_FIA_World_Rally_Championship/
