Muito interessante. Um bom metroidvania com o movimentação bem fluida e combate satisfatório. Misturaram algumas mecânicas e ficou um conceito bem legal, o combate é em turnos onde no seu turno você é livre para atacar fazendo vários combos diferentes por um determinado tempo, a defesa é no parry e a janela de tempo pra acertar é bem justa, eu sou péssima em executar parry e mesmo assim consegui zerar. A arte eu achei tão única, esse modelo abstrato é perfeito pra temática do jogo, porém não gostei muito do mapa do jogador ser nessa temática também, me deixou confusa em vários momentos, preferia um mapa mais comum. Um ponto interessante que tenho que citar é que não tem runback nem checkpoints, morreu pra algum inimigo ou caiu no abismo? Você nasce exatamente no mesmo local, sem penalidades. Os mapas são bem feitos e é muito bom andar por ele com todas as habilidades desbloqueadas, é um bom platformer. A história é bem... sei lá, eu não entendi nada, enfim, recomendo bastante.

There are no words I can use that can quite explain what I feel about this game. In a way, it makes sense, considering it too uses minimal dialogue all around. But after exploring all it has to offer: I have never had an easier time recommending this game. Worldless is a metroidvania with "turn-based" combat. Its combat is actually one of its strongest points, because within your turn you're given control of a 2D-Fighting-Game style character, and can only do as much damage as you can combo actions together. After you're done, you must defend against the enemies. It's fluid, flashy and rewards good timing, with unlockable upgrades making the moves you can make even more awesome. Without spoiling anything, the game does have an interesting take on the "Two halves of one whole" storyline, even if it's plot is somewhat minimal. But to be honest, play this game because of the IRREPLACEABLE union between its fluid combat, incredible soundtrack and absolutely beautiful art. It might even teach you how to be better at 2D fighting games, who knows.

Beautiful art style, pretty poorly-executed combat system. Boring, slow, irritating.

Really enjoyable, unique and surprising MV with a really nice aesthetic and an even nicer soundtrack. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with this. The one downer for my tastes is that the main path is quite short and post-game seemed unappealing - between the form-over-function map and the optional fights becoming increasingly long-winded and punishing, I decided not to bother.
