WorldBox - God Simulator

Decent game. Fun concept and sandbox experience. Now unfortunately full of annoying UI and a billion random ‘things’ that are hard to see the purpose of. That’s the problem, unfortunately, with this game. The developers have added mutant sharks, turtles, mermaids, a couple dozen other races and a dozen new biomes - but everything just feels like a reskin. Put a rhino mutant colony against a human colony and, guess what, one wins because they’re stronger. The buildings are the exact same, all the miscellaneous culture, religion, and language features just feel like irrelevant information and the core gameplay is the same stat based, randomized cycle it’s been since the game launched. There are still no cities, no modern age, no Air Forces or logistics that would make the game feel like an actual simulator. Instead the game feels shallow and pale. I know this sounds dramatic but it’s true, sadly so for people like me who love sandbox games.
