Сделанная в 2008 году всего двумя энтузиастами, она до сих пор играется и выглядит невероятно свежо.Если вы хотите расслабиться, пошевелить мозгами и получить огромный заряд эстетического удовольствия, то эта игра — идеальный выбор на пару вечеров. В чём суть? (Геймплей) Вся игра строится вокруг механики строительства и законов физики. Ваша задача — строить живые мосты, башни, подвесные переправы и огромные цепи из очаровательных, пищащих шариков слизи (гу). Цель каждого уровня — дотянуть эту конструкцию до засасывающей трубы, которая заберёт выживших шариков.Но не всё так просто! Ваши постройки живые: они качаются от ветра, провисают под собственным весом и подчиняются силе гравитации. Чуть-чуть просчитались с балансом — и огромная, любовно выстроенная башня с грустным писком рушится в пропасть или натыкается на острые шипы. Нереальный стиль и чёрный юмор Визуально игра оформлена в потрясающем стиле, который напоминает мрачно-милые мультфильмы Тима Бёртона. Но за мультяшной графикой скрывается довольно едкая сатира на общество потребления, экологические проблемы и огромные бездушные корпорации (в лице местной World of Goo Corporation).Атмосферу идеально дополняет один из лучших саундтреков в играх: музыка здесь постоянно меняется от весёлого циркового марша до величественных и эпических оркестровых композиций, которые заставляют вас чувствовать, будто вы строите не мост из слизи, а спасаете вселенную. Вердикт World of Goo — это чистый восторг. В ней идеально сбалансированы изобретательный челлендж, крутая физика, тонкий юмор и потрясающее аудиовизуальное оформление. Она очень дружелюбна к новичкам, но при этом заставит попотеть тех, кто захочет пройти уровни на максимальный ранг.

Кто вообще разрешил игре 2008 года быть настолько хорошей? Если в детстве ты мазал козявки по стенам - поздравляю. Твои навыки наконец-то пригодились. Физика здесь, та ещё мразь. Стоит чуть-чуть ошибиться, и твоя идеально построенная сопля превращается в груду козявок. Башня качается. Мост качается. Психика качается. Тут вообще всё качается. Отдельный респект атмосфере. Саундтрек уютный, что хочется завернуться в плед, пока твоя конструкция с грохотом улетает в бездну. А визуал... вроде простенький, но спустя столько лет выглядит как авторская сказка, а не очередной безликий пазл. Не хентай-пазл, где геймплей заканчивается ровно в тот момент, когда картинка наконец собралась. И нет, это не просто шарики! Самое страшное - ты начинаешь за них переживать. Они пищат, тянутся друг к другу, а ты такой: "Прости, брат... кто-то должен умереть." И этот кто-то никогда не доброволец. Твёрдая 5+ НО ТОЛЬКО ПО СКИДКЕ. (Ну уж как-то дороговато) Однозначно брать. Особенно если любите головоломки, физику и добровольно портить себе нервы ради того самого момента, когда вся эта шаткая хреновина всё-таки доезжает до трубы. А потом открывается следующий уровень. И всё начинается заново... Кто вообще разрешил игре 2008 года быть настолько хорошей?
Это не игра. Это маленький философский трактат в обёртке. Рекомендую всем, кто готов задуматься о хрупкости конструкций — как физических, так и душевных. 10 goo из 10. Добрались, к сожалению, не все...
Built an entire empire out of sentient boogers and it kind of slaps harder than most AAA games this year. The physics feel so satisfying you'll be up at 3 am muttering just one more level while your goo tower collapses like my will to live. Soundtrack is unreasonably good for a game about gooey blobs, genuinely core memory unlocked stuff. Only gripe is some levels turn into pixel perfect rage bait where one wrong goo placement yeets your whole creation into the void. Still a certified indie gem that holds up years later. Wwould rebuild my goo empire again in a heartbeat. [b][8.5/10][/b]
Beating the game standardly is quite easy, though I remember it being harder back when I first played it when I was 7. You need to have OCD to beat every level on OCD. Soundtrack is 100x better than World Of Goo 2's.
The game is a sinister slow burn a10 bone chilling masterpiece but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are the ocd challenges so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad

This is peak. The atmosphere, I don't know how they did it... This game scared me to death as a kid. Working up the courage to finish it as an adult, it's a great physics puzzle game.
I am 14 going on 15 on September 6, and I remember absolutely loving this game, so it's realy fun to play it again! <3
