About
Wonhon is a paranormal stealth-action and tactics game about revenge in a 1920’s era Korea. The main character is a Korean girl who was killed along with her family during an attack on their village. Jeoseung Saja, the God of Death, gives the girl the paranormal ability to turn into a ghost and possess living creatures. Without weapons to protect herself, the girl must rely on stealth, finding any opportunity to use the power to transform into a ghost in order to exact her revenge.

A Girl and a Ghost: A defenseless child surrounded by enemies, the game’s phantasmal protagonist can take life force (Qi) from living creatures, turn into a ghost and possess them.
A Story of Vengeance: Having made a deal with death, the girl must defeat the marauding army through stealth and combat.
A Delicate Balance: Challenging situations call for clever solutions, will you go the stealthy route, possessing your foes and sneaking past problems, or will you go with brute force, and fight your way through the situation?

В целом, даже не считая того что это пролог, это отличный проект. Интересная рисовка, нормальный уровень графики. Вообщем могу только рекомендовать.
The controls are jacked - only fluid way to play is keyboard / mouse / controller combo; keyboard/mouse to aim - controller to walk/run...yea go figure.
Developed by BUSAN SANAI GAMES and published by SuperGG.com, Wonhon: The Beginning is an atmospheric stealth-action adventure that draws heavily from Korean folklore while telling a supernatural tale of vengeance. Set against the backdrop of an alternate version of Korea during the 1920s, the story follows a young girl whose quiet existence is destroyed after her village is massacred by occupying soldiers. Instead of passing on, she is granted another chance by the Korean God of Death, Jeoseung Saja, who transforms her into a wandering spirit capable of possessing living beings. This unusual premise immediately gives the game a distinct identity, combining historical inspiration with fantasy elements to create a narrative centered on justice, loss, and redemption. Rather than encouraging direct combat, Wonhon: The Beginning rewards careful observation and tactical decision-making. The protagonist is physically weak, forcing players to rely on supernatural powers to survive. By absorbing Qi and shifting into a ghostly form, she can possess enemy soldiers, wildlife, and other living creatures to infiltrate guarded locations or quietly eliminate threats. Every encounter becomes an opportunity to experiment with different solutions, whether sneaking through hostile territory undetected or turning enemies against one another from within. The possession mechanic is the heart of the experience, offering a refreshing alternative to the traditional stealth formula while giving players a satisfying level of freedom in how objectives are completed. The game's world is equally successful at supporting its haunting atmosphere. Its environments are filled with abandoned villages, military camps, dense forests, and shadowy locations that reinforce the bleak emotional tone of the story. The muted color palette and eerie lighting create an unsettling mood without relying on excessive horror elements. The supernatural transitions between the physical world and the spirit realm are visually striking and help distinguish the game's unique mechanics. Although the production values are modest compared to larger releases, the developers make effective use of their resources by prioritizing strong artistic direction over technical spectacle. The narrative also deserves praise for its emotional focus. While the revenge-driven storyline is familiar, the incorporation of Korean mythology gives it a fresh perspective. The relationship between the young heroine and Jeoseung Saja adds depth to the adventure, exploring themes of sacrifice, grief, and the consequences of seeking vengeance. Instead of portraying its protagonist as an unstoppable warrior, the game emphasizes vulnerability and resilience, making every successful infiltration feel meaningful. The historical setting serves as an engaging backdrop, while the fictional interpretation allows the story to remain focused on its supernatural themes rather than attempting to recreate real historical events. The audio presentation complements the gameplay well, using restrained music and ambient environmental effects to heighten suspense. Quiet moments become just as important as action sequences, encouraging players to pay attention to enemy movement and the sounds of their surroundings. This subtle approach strengthens the tension throughout the game and makes stealth encounters more immersive. Combined with the deliberate pacing, the sound design helps establish an atmosphere where patience and planning are consistently rewarded. Despite its strengths, Wonhon: The Beginning is not without shortcomings. Enemy artificial intelligence can occasionally behave inconsistently, and certain stealth scenarios become repetitive as the campaign progresses. Character movement and combat mechanics also lack the polish found in larger stealth franchises, making direct confrontations feel less refined than the possession-focused gameplay. Fortunately, these issues rarely overshadow the game's most creative ideas, and players willing to embrace its slower, methodical pace will likely find its supernatural systems engaging from beginning to end. Ultimately, Wonhon: The Beginning stands out because of its willingness to explore underrepresented mythology while delivering inventive stealth mechanics built around possession and strategic infiltration. Its compelling atmosphere, distinctive setting, and emotionally driven narrative give it a memorable identity that separates it from more conventional action adventures. Although a higher level of technical polish would have elevated the overall experience, the game's originality and commitment to its core ideas make it a rewarding journey for players who appreciate stealth games with creative mechanics and strong world-building. I really liked to play this game and i think the It's very promising, but I think that it need urgent a option to use lower graphics and resolution, because I can't play in some maps whit so much grass ou raining, please do this, ok its on demo, but isn't optimized, please, I and another players need the option to use a lower graphic :((
Игра хорошая, но чуть чуть оптимизации нет.
Nice stealth concept. NPC AI is not bad, they run to the last place from where they hear the sound. Even Skyrim doesn't have this :)) Dev's should work on the shaking head concept, it doesn't look nice, imho. Congrats.
