[h1]General Impressions[/h1] WizardWare is a simulation of downloading files off the internet using DSL in the early 2000s that lets you test your phishing detection skills in a simple yet effective way. While there are somewhat modern solutions that let you filter most malicious emails out these days, the weakest link in the connection continues to remain being you. This game unfortunately doesn't have much depth to it, The computer can take a lot of viruses, but if your download queue takes up a lot of differing files, the CPU usage spikes and ends your run. While I love the aesthetic of it all, there's not much else to experience from my playthrough on it. The play on the "retiring wizard" is thoughtful. If you're the discord kitten that keeps sharing those MrBeast crypto ads on Discord, then this game might be for you. Malicious attacks can vary wildly in strength but it's assumed in the game here that once the file is accepted that the file would be ran. If I had anything to add thematically, it would have been checking on what the retiring wizard sees. I'm already cosplaying the tech-literate nephew, might as well zhuzh it up with an juno-esque browser and have "wizwire" in the taskbar.
