Despite all the reviews claiming this is a "fun point and click adventure", it is absolutely nothing of the sort. It's a bare bones Papers Please clone with absolutely no progression or advancement. You have 5 fields to check and a picture, and you compare with entries in a codex. That's the whole game. There's no second level, no slow drip of content, nothing but the same action over and over and over. It dragged on after 5 minutes, and had absolutely nothing going for it.

Wizardware has a fun and clearly realized sense of style (I laughed in delight when I saw the dungeon crawler screen saver!). The gameplay focuses on checking the specs of incoming software against a codex and accepting (if they match) or rejecting them (If they differ). At first this can be a bit overwhelming, but after I became familiar enough with the names and images to reject some out of hand, it hit its stride with satisfying combos that felt directly connected to my skill improving rather than luck.

Fun and straightforward! It's detailed without being overwhelming, and there's a definite sense of progression as you begin to remember facts about each part. A good game for when I want to take a break from work without suddenly losing hours of my life.

Very cheeky and fun! Also, as someone who still has nightmares about old internet style popups filling the screen, definitely brings that heart rate up.

Fun game! Mr. Web is a troll, but i love him. The humor was great, visuals brought me back to early ps1 days. I often found myself laughing so much at the pop ups/ Mr. Webs commentary I got things wrong!

Boring slog. Barely worth 2.00, calling it "just Papers Please but with no story and a neat art style" is an insult to papers please. There's no progression and no more content aside from the first few minutes repeated over and over again.

I've only played a little of this game but I really love it
