Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
DEVELOPER NOTE: 2.0 IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD, JUST THROUGH A DIFFERENT BRANCH (LIKE HOW YOU WOULD FIND A BETA RELEASE)
Witching Hour is a horror-themed zombie wave shooter.
You must survive with your AK until the clock stikes 12
Zombies will come at you from every angle.
The game features a body cam perspective.
In Witching Hour the player will be able to walk around and sprint, as well as shoot their rifle at different types of entities.
Witching hour also gives the player a flashlight that can be turned on and off.
Witching hour features four different types of entities:
The zombie: slow moving entity that is practically harmless on its own but can be very dangerous in numbers.
The skinwalker: A fast moving entity disguised as a mannequin that only moves when the player cannot see it. This entity drops ammo when killed.
The mutant: A large entity that is harder to kill and is only visible when the flashlight is off.
The speed demon: a small but very fast moving entity that will stop at nothing to kill you.

Diary Entry - November 17th
The world has unraveled into a nightmare, and I find myself scrawling these words in the flickering light of a dwindling flashlight. Today marked the onset of the undead invasion that now engulfs our once-thriving city. The streets, once filled with life, have transformed into a desolate battleground.
Morning brought ominous whispers of chaos as news of the outbreak spread like wildfire. A sense of disbelief clung to the air until the distant moans of the undead grew louder, drowning out the last vestiges of normalcy.
By midday, the city plunged into pandemonium. Sirens wailed in the distance, and the sharp stench of decay hung heavy. I watched from my apartment window as people fled in panic, their screams blending with the haunting groans of the approaching undead.
My instincts kicked in, propelling me to secure my meager supplies and fortify my apartment. The world outside my window became a twisted dance of survival, where each shadow held the potential for danger. The undead roamed the streets, their vacant eyes fixated on a grim objective that only they seemed to comprehend.
As night fell, the city plunged into darkness, broken only by sporadic flashes of gunfire and distant screams. The hollow echoes of footsteps and the occasional crash of breaking glass painted a grim soundscape, reminding me of the encroaching peril.
Now, as I pen down these words, I can't shake the feeling of impending doom. The undead lurk in the shadows, their relentless pursuit fueled by an insatiable hunger. The world as I knew it has crumbled, replaced by a landscape of fear and uncertainty.
I cling to the hope that daylight will bring some respite, a chance to navigate this apocalyptic reality. For now, I fight in the dark, surrounded by the distant moans of the undead, and wonder how long my limited supply of bullets will hold against the relentless tide outside.

Ok, this is very interesting. Of all the wave-based zombie shooters I have had the pleasure to play till now, this is undoubtedly the most horror-focused. Everything, from the bodycam perspective, to the dark and oppressive atmosphere, to the retro-themed soundtrack, provides a total immersion in a truly horrific world where your only task is to survive as long as possible before being eaten alive. You truly feel desperate, hopeless, overwhelmed by the horrors that are being thrown at you. It's like playing a horror movie, no less. The only problem is that there is actually nothing beyond that. The atmosphere is masterfully crafted, but the gameplay grows boring very fast, because you cannot change location and there is not great variety neither in the enemies, nor in the mechanics. And, on top of that, you cannot know how much time has passed since you started playing, so you have no idea wether, just before your inevitable death, you have been very close to victory or not. This is extremely harmful for replayability, the player does not feel engaged and quits immediately. This game holds much potential, but absolutely needs to be improved with more mechanics, more enemies, possibly more weapons, anything that could be of some help in keeping the player glued to the screen. Cheers guys!

Honestly, this has potential. This review is more of a way for me to give recommendations, that I think could improve the game. So here are some suggestions on how to make the game better.
Gameplay
-Add a pause menu. This one is pretty self-explanatory. -Add some sort of way to see your health. I like the non-UI style, but seeing your health in some way, such as blood building up on the edges of the screen, or a heartbeat sound effect that slowly speeds up as you lose health. Speaking of losing health, give the character more health, and a way to heal. Right now, you die to everything incredibly fast. -Allow for changing keybinds, volume adjustment, sensitivity adjustment, etc in options. -Try to have a point where the zombies can enter without seeing them spawn in. So like having them jump through windows, and having a spawn point outside. Or something similar to that. Anywhere where the player can't see them spawn in. -Don't allow the player to reload if they have full ammo. -Make aiming actually aim down the iron sights of the gun, not just moving it over to the other side of the screen. -Add more weapons and an ammo system.
Design
-Fix up the main menu. Stuff like changing the font, adding movement to the buttons when you hover over them, and reformatting. Also remove the zombies from the background, no offense but they look kinda goofy. -Try to make your own sound effects for the enemies. This one is probably harder to do than the other recommendations, but it would 100% be worth it. The other sound effects work fine, it's really just the zombie sound effects that don't work well with the game. -Kind of a hard recommendation, but make some unique models for the enemies that fit the general theme. I know how hard making models is, but unique models for the enemies would improve the quality so much. -Fix the enemy ragdolls. Right now when you kill one they fly across the room and clip into the wall, maybe having less force when they get enabled would help.
Misc
-I just wanted to complement this game for the way the camera works. The way it shakes is so well done, especially while running. And that's all that I have to say right now. I genuinely see potential in this, so I just wanted to give some feedback.
Great zombie shooter from what I played up to now. Just wish there was an audio option let you switch music off. As much as I appreciate the soundtrack I think the option to turn it on and off would be good.
Ok, this was a fun little game to play. Cost me 1$ during the sale. I will be playing it every once in a while for sure. Needs more weapons (random even) a sidearm especially. Needs more maps. Could literally be anything and it'd work for this game so long as the environments are grounded in the world. Store bought or not, they're being used well for this little project. This game needs a co-op option to play with friends. Even a lan option could work where you can use RadminVPN for connectivity. Ragdolls are absolutely hilarious in this game which doesn't take away the value. But, trying to be a serious game, the physics of the ragdolls should be worked on. Otherwise, a very surprisingly well optimized yet tad janky "Helmet-Cam" style game. Also I appear to be dying by "invisible" enemies. Not sure if they're an enemy type or if enemies aren't actually dying when they're character model does. Idk
after latest update game is a broken cod zombie ripoff it was a better game before they could have just added this as a update
It's actually not bad for $5 lol. I don't think the screenshots and videos do it justice tbh
Terrible it sucks ass.
Love the graphics with no lag but please add a pause menu and more settings options update: I have just bought the game again after 2-3 years, amazing, glad to see the development of the game!
"Update Review on 12/28/25 after the big game overhaul" Now its garbage... A super water down call of duty zombie rip off, camera is sideways?? sound and movement is terrible. All og maps, gameplay, monsters for this game is all now gone... 1/10 "Update Review on 8/4/24 after the big game overhaul" Still really enjoy the game but now with this new overhaul update its even way better now! way way worth 5$! More maps, better game play, changed zombie animations, and now a wave base "frenzy" mode, hard but fun! My new honest review with Witching hour is a 8/10 p.s. fix the office map lol you can still go on the couches and not get touched were that tv is lol its fun to do but still :) or dont ;) My old Post - I really enjoy the gameplay and idea going on here but the issue so far is why cant i choose a map and use more guns? Most the maps too are really dark so when looking too fast or running your not sure were your going in the heat of the moment. For 5$ its good just wish they add more features and options and the game would be playable more then 20min... is what it feels like to me, ill play 4 or 5 rounds and be board due to being at the same lvl and or too dark on the lvl like the one outside on the streets, i like that map just too dark to see when things are coming and the car lights will blind you when fighting monsters. My honest review for the game would be 6/10, add that stuff and the game can easy be 8/10 for what it is.
