Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

Reviews
One of the very few games ive (as of early access 0.9) 100%'d , about as good as shooting gets, love the style of the weapons and maps , shooting feels so good and theres a load of build variety. If DLC is made after 1.0 i will buy straight away.

Gameplay is very similiar to Destiny 2, but its wrapped in an extraction-based structure. Very fun and satisfying, amazing in short bursts.
Addicting
Уныло, скучно, серо, безыдейно. Однообразные локации, одни и те же задачи, оружие без импакта, мало контента. Не советую.
Very unique
Alright, this is the kind of game that steam reviews don't necessarily mean much for. One could aptly describe Witchfire as "Destiny as a soulslike" and in those four words you'd get a very good idea of whether or not it's the game for you. There are light rogue-like elements but only so far as randomizing enemy positions/types, and the bonuses you get for clearing enemy encounters but the former is there to stamp out some repetitiveness and the latter can be very effectively manipulated from as early as your second expedition, so if you're shying away from this game for some reason related to randomness this is a sign you should give it a try. The guns feel phenomenal, and the balance is so good that the weakest weapon and the strongest weapon are only marginally different, allowing you to play around with various combinations and playstyles, trying what sounds fun to you without nerfing yourself by any metric. The sound design is excellent, and the artstyle is consistently beautiful throughout. Every enemy has just enough attack variety to keep you on your toes without feeling overwhelming, and their telegraphing animations are all very fluid and readable. If you're paying attention, you should always know exactly what's coming next. The progression feels really nice, difficulty increases are left to the player's discretion on when they happen, be that through raising your Gnosis level or exploring new areas. This game is a labor of love and it really shows, from the sounds to the art to the balance to the map design, you can feel that there was a consistent developer vision throughout. Now on to my negative thoughts: There are times when you can be left wondering where to go next, but that's honestly a very minor gripe that feels kind of like picking a problem to be upset about. There is no fast loadout swapping/presets, making it a bit tedious to experiment with multiple new things at once, or have multiple sets of weapons and spells to use together. My biggest complaint is that I would love to see some choice in the progression tree for weapons, like a "this or that" choice between two bonuses for the third level of each weapon, though that is a contributing factor to how well balanced the guns are with each other, not to mention how much additional work it would take to design, code, and balance extra options like that. I haven't experienced any issues of major bugs/glitches, in my currently 63 hours I've had exactly 1 crash and exactly 1 bug of an enemy walking through a solid object once. This game is not in early access because it runs horribly or is unstable, and the dev team regularly communicates exactly what they're doing and when, so if seeing EA scares you off, give it a chance. This game is something quite special, and I wholeheartedly recommend it as the highest standard of what a singleplayer game can and should be.
