Neat story and basis for the game. Very interesting graphics. In early access late 2017, but this game has the potential to be a kick-ass game!
Just to be clear, I am an original backer for this game from when it was on Kickstarter, so I might be slightly biased. I have to agree with the general consensus here, in that this game has a lot of potential. Like from the first 5 minutes of the tutorial and the opening cinematic, you can tell a lot of attention has been given to the lore and setting and its plain to see the developers have big plans for this game. Gameplay wise its a bit hit and miss. I know we are only on Patch 17 (as time of writing) and I assume its going to go up to Patch 100 so theres still plenty of time to fix these things. Combat is a bit of a mess, I recently completed the quest where you have to run the obstacle course, during it you have the option to fight giant wasps (Wickets I think they're called?) and a boar. I have no idea how hit detection works but you can be up close with enemies and be hitting nothing. I also wasn't to sure how much health they have left. They have an icon over there head, with like hit bars, but its rather unclear as to when they're at half health or lower. Play it and you'll see what I mean. However killing these enemies and completing the optional objectives did hit me up with some items that will help further down the line. A positive gameplay aspect I found was the grab system. If you press G, you then have the option to grab and move things, similar to if you hold E in Skyrim, but way more responsive. I can see that being a really useful gameplay mechanic further down the line. I also plan to barricade people in their homes just to see what happens. Graphically the game is fine for the stage of where it is at. For some reason it reminds me a lot of Oblivion. If you were so inclined, you could watch the trees blowing in the wind for awhile. Theres a bit of a delay in textures appearing, that might be down to the game being installed on a HDD though. I had the settings on either High or Epic, and my framerate was solid. As for sound, the effects are okay, the sounds your character makes is passable. However other NPC's are not great. For instance theres a bear in the training ground that is swinging their sword but theres like no sound at all. I can only presume it'll get better. The games soundtrack though, thats pretty damn good. The voice acting isn't too bad either. So all in all, I would recommend this game, as it only seems to be getting better. It's not finished obviously, so dont be expecting an epic 70 hour journey. But its fine for what it is and there seems to be plenty of things to do for the price tag.

Pretty game, but it has a ton of lag spikes, it's no longer being developed beyond its current state, and the majority of gameplay is aimless wandering in a very large forest with very little direction hoping that you find whatever it is you're looking for.
I got this game on sale for $3.74 luckly. Though I did click "Yes" to get this game, still its damn near unplayable right now. single digit framerate, awful shaky camera, loads of bugs, this game is very early in development. Still I recomend it because I see SO much potential for it. So buy it if you like and if not at least keep it on your radar to check back within a year or two from now to see how much better it will be by then hopefully. I see great things on the horizon for this game, marvelous things. Its just like any "early access" game still undercooked, but like i said give it time to marinate.
这游戏的钱估么全都花在介绍动画里面了 本体贼辣鸡了 不过也就一块钱 喜加一了
Solid game
EDIT: I think I had my settings wrong when I played previously - or I was using an incompatible setup. It seems to work okay now on my current rig and I'll be playing this on stream soon so that'll be the real test! Sadly, I am only able to get smooth gameplay if I'm looking down constantly, even on the lowest settings. It goes without saying, that optimisation needs some work - but I can forgive that, because it's an early access game. I'm really excited to play this in the future, and I would recommend everyone gets on board with it, because it's very promising!
Läuft mit ungefähr 5 FPS. Zur Zeit noch völlig unspielbar.
So, this was rough. So, for my sanity I'm gonna review this as someone on a mid range non gaming computer . The game has nice concepts , the world gave me zelda vibes , the voice acting felt right , the lighting / atmosphere felt good . But, game play wise. There was a ton of issue. When, I placed the grapghics to be low . Hoping to acheive 120 fps. I was struggling to get 18ish fps. An that's with a crucible 16 gb ram card + intel 4 gb ram .In the low settings leaves looked bright white, animations were choppy, and character creation was very basic even for a beta build . While, I would recommend this to furries and fans of open world games . This is very hard to recommend for many reasons . Unless, you have a nvidia or gtx grapghic card. This game just won't run well. Even on my intel core i5 that is mid range in gameing . With how much I upgraded my parts . Wintanlore still runs rather poorly . An I can run some pretty heavy games from ue4 gaming sites . I would not recommend this game. This some serious patches and features get added . Because, the beta hardly seems to be getting any updates . This is almost a hard pass . Mainly, because, this game is hardly playable unless, you have really good hardware and upgraded your computer . Making you pay more just to run a cheap beta . As much as I want to recommend this game . The cons of this game's beta just out weighs to much over the pros . Making this a hard pill for me to say . I would not recommend this game. For any one on low end to mid ranged computers from wallmart, best buy, or any other store that are raw systems. Meaning, they have no updated ram etc . Unless, you have a really good gaming system sure buy the game. But, the ram needed seems a bit much for me to recommend to the general gamers out there .
EDIT: The development is abandoned. --------------------------------------------------- Early Access Warning: This is not finished game. I really like the idea and game feel. DEVs communicate a lot and seem to be very reasonable in game designs. If you can, please support them!
