Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
WILL: Follow The Light is a story-driven, first-person adventure puzzle game about a perilous personal journey through the harsh northern latitudes. To find peace and reunite with his family, Will must sail across endless waters, face numerous challenges, and ultimately discover himself.
You play as Will, a lighthouse keeper on a remote island in the northern seas. The story begins during one of your typically solitary shifts when an unexpected radio message shatters the routine. A sudden disaster has struck your hometown, and your only son is missing. Determined to find him, you must set out on a quest aboard your sailing yacht, Molly, navigating the treacherous northern seas.
The harder you search for your son, the more questions arise. What hidden truths lie in your bond with your own father? Where is your beloved wife? What has happened to your family? The answers are scattered across the unforgiving northern environments you explore — an abandoned island accessible only by sea, a mountain range traversable by dog sled, and your home now standing among ruins and accessible only on foot.
Through the journey, you discover and confront truths about yourself, whether you’re ready for them or not.
All of it to save your son…

I waited a while for this game, and have finally finished making my way through it. The graphics and scenery are great and the game felt oddly comforting to me. There's a few puzzles and a couple of parts where you feel like you're walking/sailing forever, but it's nothing to complain about and I feel like the game makes up for it in other ways. The story was touching and fairly to-the-point, although it's a shame there couldn't be more in the way of character engagement, exploring off-route etc. But a well written story nonetheless. The dog sledding was good fun, and a sperm whale trashed my boat multiple times. Definitely recommend.
WILL: Follow the Light – Zwischen Leuchttürmen, Schuldgefühlen und einem ziemlich nachtragenden Wal
WILL: Follow the Light ist eines dieser Spiele, bei denen man nach den ersten Minuten noch nicht so recht weiß, was man eigentlich bekommt. Walking Simulator? Rätselspiel? Segelsimulation?
Spielerisch sollte man allerdings keine Wunder erwarten. WILL: Follow the Light ziemlich entspannt spielen. Fazit WILL: Follow the Light ist kein perfektes Spiel. WILL: Follow the Light definitiv ansehen.
An ok little indie walking simulator. The story has no resonance for me cause it's father-son stuff. The graphics are fine for an indie. Voice acting is hit and miss. Not bad for a short offline story diversion.
С will follow the light примерно такая-же история...
Finally was able to finish this game. Had the save/cloud save, disappear on me, with NO TRACE. So thankfully the game is easy, and short enough to complete. Would have loved for the game to have a bit more content with at least another hour of gameplay. Could use some QoL updates with a few added touches to FULLY support controllers of the gamer's choosing.
Nice for an indie game. Couldn't solve some tasks by myself, so googled them instead of wasting time. Sailing mechanics are nice, but there are much more bad gameplay mechanics in the game. And I didnt get what was that in the middle — some kind of Silent Hill ♥♥♥♥. What it was about? Did Will just get injured in the head by the boom?.. I need more answers!
I wont review it until beaten it :)
It's an indie game and it has flaws of course. But that's the thing, the authenticity of indie games and the atmosphere that this game brought made me enjoy playing it, despite the puzzles tho. Wish there could be more sailing and having more interactions in the cabin. Overall a good game to enjoy over the weekend.
