Wildlife Park Gold Reloaded

A mixed bag. It's great to finally have all of the features from all three games together in one play, to allow the player the ability to build one big zoo. However, there are still some problems. The building tools are more clunky, probably because they are adapted from the app, which is a shame. Another problem, more a glitch, is that the water plants all die in water, and do fine on land, the opposite of what they should be doing! A real shame, because with a bit of polish, this game could be excellent, with all the features it offers

When I originally bought this game I LOVED it. Couldn't get enough of it. But I don't know what's happened. Now it is utterly frustrating and difficult to play. That interface is terrible. I'm sorry devs, but it's just so SLOW to build just one flipping exhibit that I lost interest. And I'm sad about that as this game has something that Zoo Tycoon doesn't have...DNA research and a brilliant system for developing those extinct animals. But sadly that's over shadowed by the stupid UI. Thanks a bunch Devs! Personally I'd give you a kick up the bum if I could for ruining this gorgeous game! Listen to your users, PLEASE!Until the UI improves, I honestly couldn't recommend this game. I'm sorry.

Das Spiel war soooo gut, aber hier habens die Entwickelt endgültig verkackt. Steuerung ist richtig madig. Jeder Baum muss einzeln gesetzt werden, was ja kein Problem ist, ABER nicht wenn man jedes mal diesen grünen Knopf drücken muss. Opitisch ist es eher schlechter geworden, weil gelegentlich Textur- und Skalierfehler auftauchen. Der ganze Menü Aufbau ist ein einziges Chaos. Wie gewollt und nicht gekonnt. Das positive an den Spiel, gegenüber dem Originalen, ist das Wegfallen der Kopierschutz Problematik. Bei dem Originalen hatte der Kopierschutztreiber das Spiel selbst blockiert, bzw. unspielbar gemacht, weshalb ich es mir bei Steam gekauft habe. Ich kann nur jeden von diesen Spiel abraten!

It's not a patch on the original Zoo Tycoon. None of the scenarios seem to be winnable after the intitial introduction ones and it's plagued with problems, such as vets not treating animals, animals not eating food, etc... The free form games are probably OK, but come on, when will Steam have the original Zoo Tycoon? The only reason I bought this was because I miss the game as my pc will no longer play the CD ROM of the original (and you can't seem to get computers with disc drives now.) The graphics aren't as nice either, nor is the section of animals in the game is as extensive, though I could have put that aside if there weren't so many bugs in the game.

Ich kann die ganzen roten Daumen hier nicht so ganz nachvollziehen. Ja, es ist ein bißchen hakelig und manche Knöpfe sind ein bißchen groß, aber so wie es hier geschrieben wurde, dass sie teilweise das Spiel verdecken - nö. Es ist halt Wildlife Park, so wie es schon immer war - nur ein wenig aufgemotzt was die Menüs und die allgemeine Bedienung angeht. Reload eben. Das da niemand das Rad neu erfunden hat, sollte sich von selbst verstehen. Es ist hier und da was verändert, manchmal verbessert, manchmal - je nach persönlichem Gusto - auch verschlimmert worden. Aber alles in allem sieht es aus und spielt sich auch so wie das alte. Auch das die Screenshots nicht original wären und quasi aufgehübscht sein sollen - nö. Die stimmen völlig überein. Wer sagt, er hätte das Urspiel geliebt und toll gefunden und dieses hier sei Mist, na da stimmt dann irgendwas nicht. Denn es IST das Urspiel, mit einigen Änderungen (die aber höchst subjektiv bewertet werden hier). Ich sehe keinen Grund davon abzuraten es sich zu holen, wenn man auf alte Grafik und diesen Spielstil steht.

Spiele aktuell die Kampagne, ist herausfordernder als erwartet. Hab es aus Nostalgie gekauft als ich die CD gefunden hab, die ich als Kind béreits gespielt hab. Macht einfach Spaß wie viele Mögliche Bauoptionen verfügbar sind ^^

I had played this game a hell of a lot as a CD version and it was than and still is an amazing game. Like many other old school games on Steam, i do not understand the bad reviews it gets. - Like what are peops expecting? They made it possible to finally enjoy it through steam incl. the expansion and kept most things the same. The interface is way more structured and once u get a grip on the controls (they are a lil different than they used to be - but better) it works great. The graphic ofc did not change - why would you? - but the rest is as it was. You can also finally just continue with the campaigns without having to be sent back to the main menu. 10/10 - Thank you for bringing it to Steam!
