Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 95.14/day in the week to Jul 18 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The world has succumbed to the Wildfrost. Now only Snowdwell and its survivors stand as the last bastion against an eternal winter... Build up a deck of powerful card companions and elemental items, as you battle to banish the frost once and for all!
Perfect your card battling and deck-building skills, and set out on a quest to bring an end to The Wildfrost! Begin each journey with your chosen tribe Leader, each gifted with different randomised skills and stats, before mapping out your chosen path into the unforgiving frosty landscape.
Rescue and recruit frozen companions you find along the way, unearth lost treasures, and spend your hard-earned blings with travelling merchants. The decisions you make and routes you take during each run will help craft a powerful deck, unique to you each time you play.
Collect a huge array of cute, but mighty card companions, as well as handy items and clunker cards to aid you in battle. Experiment with different elemental card combinations to find your winning formula.
Your companion cards aren’t just disposable minions for dealing out damage; upgrade and customise your favourites by adding wobbly charms to enhance their powers, making your deck a powerful (and adorable) force to be reckoned with!
Plan ahead with the help of a dynamic counter system to map out your next move and fend off frosty foes. While Wildfrost battles are turn-based, cards don’t attack every turn. Instead they have a ‘counter’ which counts down the amount of turns until they’re ready to automatically make their move!
By keeping an eye on enemy monsters’ counters, you can plot ahead your perfect play. Buff your companions? Stall an enemy attack? Or maybe count down your own timer to wreak havoc fast! It’s up to you to strategically turn the tide in your favour.
Need a rest? Take shelter in the cosy town of Snowdwell. Here survivors have gathered to keep warm using the power of the Luminice, a giant shard of hot ice.
As you progress after each run you’ll be able to return and gradually help expand the hub town itself, constructing buildings such as a Pet Shop, Inventors Hut and more! These new areas will unlock fun and useful new things to use during your adventures, with new cards, tribes, cosmetics, challenges to complete, and events to encounter.
Think you’ve defeated the Frost Guardian? Even after you’ve beaten back the frost, Wildfrost offers endless replayability, with daily runs and challenges! Test your skills and improve your score!

I like this game. It is cute, whimsical, and the combos are really fun.
Such an amazing game! The characters and art style are so cute! The mechanics are very intuitive and it doesn’t feel like a chore. I keep on wanting to do another run. Even though I’m bad at this game it still is fun for me! They really help you figure out the mechanics and this game also really makes you think hard. I would recommend some patience especially when you first start out in this game. It is challenging but nothing you can’t handle with some practice!

I did had fun until I keep losing from RNG or more enemy keep popping up or stack effect from the monster. Game stress me out keep dying to many mobs that stack too many negative effect. cant even beat game with any of class with random RNG stats.
Probably my favorite roguelike deckbuilder. Not as hard as launch, but still a decent challenge (especially with the ascension-like mechanic) The game is pretty easy to understand, and most of your deaths will come from small miscalculations and missed interactions. Imo, it's never unfair, but it can be really frustrating for new players. Take your time and try to undertand what you missed after every loss. Music and designs are 10/10, incredible work from Paul Zimmermann and Gaziter. And mod support adds a lot to the lifetime (check out Sunnaryisun mods!)
This is my second account to repeat all the achievements and unlocks including the Goobers mod and all gold frames. My main has 600+ hours as of this review.
Fun and unique mechanics. Better art for me than Slay the Spire while having the same level of difficulty. Having to beat your own winning build as the end boss makes the game feel re-playable.
I always like to come back to this one for a quick game. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's cute, has good gameplay, nice art, and runs on basically everything.
It's a very visually polished game. They clearly put thought into the mechanics and accessibility options. But there's one major flaw that's core to the game's design. The commander card is your lose condition. There are too many area attacks, counter attacks, and reflects. As a tactics gamer, it's infuriating seeing my commander is next to attack and will hit something that will kill it in retribution. You can switch them to another lane, but when it's a big boss, or there are multiple enemies with the effect across lanes? You're screwed. They should have leaned into the lane mechanic by defending a static base behind your playable cards.
♥♥♥♥. This. Game. Period. I tried. I really tried. For tens of hours. Is it a difficult game? Not really. What it is is thoroughly infuriating. There is a good game in here, somewhere. But this good game desperate to shine is bogged down by so much unnecessarily random bvllshit that it is baffling. The random leader stats in the beginning is a shinning example of this. You can get, if you're lucky, 1 out of 9 that is worth anything, or you can just get 9 leaders with random stats that pretty much mean an automatic loss in higher difficulties, forcing you to get whatever, start a run, return to the menu, go back into the city and cancel the run just to see if you can get anything worth a damn this time around. In short, this game doesn't respect your time. And don't even get me started on the charms. Another nice idea but 1) you are able to use your charms to strengthen both your characters and your cards but if you use them on your characters, you are indirectly punished for doing so; 2) most of the charms you unlock are either useless, downright disadvantageous or extremely niche. Meaning that completing your objectives and fulfilling achievements punishes you by filling your random pool with trash. A problem that many games of this genre have, true, but it is especially egregious here. Are there things to like about it? There are. Otherwise I wouldn't have tried for so long. The potential is here. But, seriously, ♥♥♥♥ this game.
