Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Fun storytelling game, which improves substantially when you name your party members after people you know/watch. Around 4 campaigns will probably show you most of the stuff it has to offer when it comes to variety of events and builds. Can't "Not recommend" and might come back to it in the future/
Needs more frogs! But in all seriousness, its a great game overall with some great storylines.

Honestly the various story elements that get worked into an otherwise already decent tactical RPG are just disgustingly good.
An incredible turn-based tactics game. Solid music, solid art, extremely satisfying progression while still feeling threatening at all times. The integration of story and mechanics is better than any other game in this genre I have ever played. Don't even wait for a sale!
I am 4 hours in as shown. This game is already peak, the storytelling is compelling and well written, and the combat is fun.
I had this on my wishlist for a few years and couldn't get over the kid style graphics. Do yourself a favor, get over it, this game is amazing. This game made me realize why I have a hard time getting into games like BG3 and DOS2. Those games have huge open worlds, and I would fiddle around way too much trying to find everything in every nook and cranny, trying to talk to every NPC after every event at all times of the day, trying to find every possible thing/dialogue in the game. It's how I'm built, I can't help it, and I find those games quite exhausting because of it. I blame FF7/9 from when I was a kid. This game skips the open world and instead as you go along will present you with options that not only tell the story of your party, but will make/shape/break your builds/team. I also like that when you acquire gear, there is no community inventory where it gets held until you, the player, decide you want to do something different or fiddle around in menus between every fight. Instead, you give the gear to one of your characters, right then and there, forever. And they will throw away whatever they had that the new gear is replacing. If you like X-Com, this game isn't far off, and in fact, has a lot more depth, being it's kinda/sorta in the D&D style.
glorius
Its fun to play. Its moddable. Other posters have given great reviews so no need to go there. I hope to see it expanded to other genres like sci-fi, medieval, mythology, bronze age, cave men. I could play them all because triple A companies are basically not making games anymore and laid off all their talent for newbs in degrees that have nothing to do with gaming or entertainment.
Great gem of a game!
