You've become the major of a town that... doesn't exist. Nobody lives here, the governor's stupid joke. It's time to get to work and turn this NOWHERE into a bustling metropolis. Mine coal, ore, and gold. Build houses, find oil, bring in new residents, create a paradise in the middle of nowhere.

About
You’ve arrived where the maps end and the wild, untamed frontier begins. Your mission is to build a thriving town from the ground up — a place that will attract settlers, traders, and fortune‑seekers. This land may look worthless… but give it time. Beneath the surface lie riches that could change your life forever.
Explore deeper layers of the earth and gather the resources that will become the foundation of your growing empire:
coal, iron, copper, gold, and diamonds
crude oil hidden in deep underground deposits
metal smelting furnaces and oil extraction machines
Every resource brings you closer to a bigger town and greater opportunities.
You start with a few planks and a tent, but soon you’ll be able to:
construct houses and attract new residents
expand your infrastructure
decorate and customize your own living space however you like
Your settlement can become a true oasis in the middle of the wasteland.
Progress requires investment. Buy better tools and explosives from traveling merchants. Improve your logistics:
crates and wheelbarrows for transporting materials
horses and wagons for hauling large loads
Hire workers so your town keeps growing even when you’re busy elsewhere.
The Wild West isn’t just gold and oil — it’s danger too:
attacks from wild animals
bandits roaming the area
pistols and shotguns available for purchase to defend yourself and your townsfolk
Your settlement must be safe if it’s going to survive.
After a long day of hard work, you can:
visit the saloon
play darts
shoot to the bottle
Even a sheriff needs a break.
Will you manage to transform this forgotten “Nowhere” into a thriving metropolis and rise from a small‑town sheriff to a wealthy governor?

Played entirely on Steam Deck and it runs well with no real issues. I somewhat enjoyed Prison Escape Simulator, so I was hoping Wild West Miner Simulator would scratch the same itch. Unfortunately, it just isn’t doing it for me. The gameplay feels repetitive and slow, and there’s very little that makes me want to keep playing or see what’s coming next. After a while, it starts to feel more like a chore than something I’m playing for fun. I wouldn’t recommend it at its current price. For around €1, it might be worth picking up if you’re curious, but anything more than that is a hard sell for me.

positive critical· bar length = how often the theme comes up
The hand wagon can't carry boards? What kind of stupid mistake is that? Also all the upgrades max out at very underpowered. You should be able to buy coal too.
Wild West Miner Simulator is a relaxing mining game where you slowly progress as you dig, smelt and sell your ores while building and expanding your town. Some of the reviews were stating that their were significant issues or lag however I did not experience any of these issues while playing the game. In the beginning the "E" (action) key had to be double clicked to work however as the game finished loading in the background this went away. Afterwards no issues or glitches have been encountered so far. For the $$ spent for the game, it is worth trying out if this is your type of game to play.
liked the game i do but bear chased me for like forever lol only safe place is in own house but he wont leave lol and my biggest grrrrrrrrr is i had a carry box 9 gold bars went to put it down near the bag seller guy on my side of fence and boom gone box and all... like i toss and gone fell threw world dont know walked all around the bag seller and nope its gone im sooooooo mad i was waiting for one more bar aka the boc filled to sell it to see how much i get and all that work alll that work gone my next cart gone sooooooo angry
Overall a fun "sequel" to Prison Escape Simulator Just needs to fix the bottleneck between amount of resources available, and what's required to accomplish goals. In the post game it gets to point you would be better off getting the last guns from wagers than through actual mining.
Somehow I highly doubt that they even playtested this. Too bad. I thought it was a cool idea.
The game is interesting and has potential; thanks to the developer for the Ukrainian localization. It's a shame that it's currently short and lacks relationship mechanics with the NPCs. Гра цікава, має потенціал; дякую розробнику за українську локалізацію. Шкода що поки що коротка і невистачає відносин з НПС.
wish it was finished, ends to soon, otherwise love it, could also use some romance maybe?
Avevo giocato la Demo e mi era piaciuto. Ora speriamo che dopo l uscita il gioco sia ancora piu piacevole.
