This game is a fantastic, short incremental experience with a fun and quirky dark fantasy theme. The main goal is to spawn a large skeleton army and continuously sacrifice them to eventually summon the Lich King. The game maintains a playful sense of humor throughout, noting that the skeletons don’t mind being sacrificed since they’re already dead. It’s easy to recommend picking this up right now, as it is already a fully polished experience. The progression is deeply satisfying because the skill tree offers highly meaningful choices at every step. The unit balancing is handled exceptionally well. Small skeletons remain useful throughout an entire run regardless of raid size, and the late game scaling applies strong buffs to them while also significantly improving the larger skeletons. The technical optimization is excellent. The game was left running in the background for an hour while other games were played, and performance stayed perfectly smooth without a single frame drop. It never crashed, which meant there was no pressure to recycle skeletons just to avoid lag. The default settings run so seamlessly that toggling a performance mode never even becomes a consideration. It is designed to be finished in roughly 4 hours, making it an ideal, bite sized idler that doesn’t overstay its welcome. A $2 game that lasts 3–4 hours is an easy win any day.
