Prise en main des combats compliquée mais le reste est au top
muito legal! super a pena
The game itself is very entertaining. I was surprised at how much the story eventually drew me in, despite dropping a ton of lore and different characters on you. It can be hard to keep up, and sometimes you wonder about the dense nature of your main character — but maybe he’s supposed to suffer with you. Visually, the game is a knockout. You might find yourself comparing it to AAA titles like Ghost of Tsushima. The map is huge and offers lots of varied landscapes that invite exploration. Many dialogues are fully voiced, and almost all NPCs chatter as you move along, which adds a ton to the immersion. Some voice actors feel a bit stiff, but considering the sheer amount of voices, it’s more than forgivable. Gameplay-wise, the controls are crisp. Mouse/keyboard and controller both feel good, though I currently prefer controller for couch gameplay. There is so much to do: main quests, random encounters, secrets, mini-games, social games — it feels like an amalgamation of souls-like titles, Assassin’s Creed and RDR2. Solo, raids, PvE, PvP — there’s something for everyone. The combat system has real depth. You build “paths” by combining two main weapons that synergize with each other. It follows the creed of “easy to learn, hard to master,” and I like that skill can compensate for lack of levels or gear. Higher-tier equipment (“Inner Ways”) adds passive effects and heavily influences your weapons, but leveling them is time-gated and can be tedious depending on your build. Still, combat feels precise and responsive, and losing to a boss often motivates you to try again and get a bit closer. Now for the big BUT. The devs and art team did an amazing job and deserve recognition — but the monetization system is nothing short of predatory. A standard equipment set costs around 1250 pearls, yet the game sells pearls only in awkward bundles (900 for ~14€, 1800 for ~28€). Above-standard skins cost ~2580 pearls, forcing you into the 3000‑pearl pack for 46€. You can farm currencies to “draw” items, but drop rates are abysmal, and the soft pity system only helps after many pulls. Shop items cannot be obtained this way. You have a tiny chance to get “Echo Cores,” which unlock some things — and most require two of these extremely rare items. Then there are timed exclusive pull queues that require pearls. The current “Celestial Glow” set includes a skin set, animations, and a background. If you fall for the FOMO, be ready to pay upwards of 800€ for a statistical chance to get it. The price is wildly disproportionate and preys on gambling addiction. Whales will spam it, and others save for months — only to get shafted when sets release earlier than expected, as happened with the CN vs. EU/US release. All in all, it’s a great game that gets in its own way. The world, the gameplay, and the presentation deserve praise – but the monetization definitely needs an overhaul. It's doubtful that they will fix it, but if the would, the game could become something truly exceptional among the F2P-Genre. I’m giving this a negative rating solely because of the monetization. The game itself is fantastic – but the way cosmetics are handled is extremely disappointing and overshadows an otherwise great experience.
