Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Once a bustling village known for its exquisite handcrafted dolls, Doll Town now rots in silence and shadows. Abandoned factories, empty schools, and forgotten shrines are all that remain—haunted by memories of the students who perished here years ago.
In this short story, you play as Yumi, a student who takes a part-time job at the town’s only convenience store, unknowingly stepping into a nightmare that refuses to stay buried. As the line between reality and dream dissolves, Yumi must uncover the truth behind the deaths, the cursed dolls, and the macabre love story that destroyed the town.
Navigate abandoned streets, school corridors, and peculiar places where every corner hides secrets—or threats.
A nightmarish blend of rural Japan’s quiet beauty and suffocating dread.

Piece together the fate of the students and the chilling love story at the town’s heart.
Experience a slow-burn descent into horror, where nothing is what it seems.

Horizontal cinematic scenes and environmental storytelling draw you deeper into the tragedy.

A town built on dolls.
A love that ended in blood.
And a curse that won’t let go.

First glance: Looks interessting. Playing: Clearly pre alfa, why would anyone release it... Finishing and looking at the long list of 'backers': A'ha thats why the released this 'game'.
Fun short game. I am not dissapointed with it for the cost. Would have loved to see more time the MC and wearing cute outfits. I enjoyed all the easter eggs scattered around, and the darker story aspects I found enjoyable even though the characters could all have used some more time to shine in the narritive. Hope I get to say "Welcome back to Doll Town", someday

I think its a awesome little indie game, especially for that price. It´s short yeah, but i had no issues at all with the game in total. No Bugs, no glitches, interesting little story, where you question yourselfe and start to think about things. A nice game to calm down after work, no stress or anything.
Welcome to Doll Town is a survival horror adventure developed and published by Bad Wish Games that embraces the unsettling charm of classic horror while introducing its own eerie identity. Set in a seemingly abandoned town where innocent-looking dolls have become terrifying threats, the game immediately establishes an atmosphere of mystery and unease. Instead of relying solely on loud scares, it gradually builds psychological tension through environmental storytelling, unsettling encounters, and the constant feeling that something is watching from the shadows. The result is a horror experience that focuses as much on anticipation as it does on direct confrontation. Exploration forms the backbone of the gameplay, encouraging players to search every corner of the cursed town for clues, useful items, and hidden secrets. Buildings, streets, and forgotten interiors each contribute pieces to the larger narrative, revealing fragments of the tragic events that transformed the community into a nightmare. The world feels carefully designed to reward curiosity, making every detour worthwhile while maintaining a lingering sense of danger. The narrative unfolds naturally through discovered documents, environmental details, and the player's own observations rather than excessive exposition, allowing the mystery to remain compelling throughout the adventure. Survival mechanics reinforce the game's tense atmosphere by forcing players to carefully manage resources and think strategically during encounters. Supplies are limited, making every healing item and weapon valuable. Combat exists as an important part of the experience, but it never overshadows the survival aspect, encouraging players to consider when fighting is necessary and when escaping is the wiser choice. Puzzle-solving also plays an important role, blending seamlessly into the exploration without interrupting the overall pacing. These challenges reward careful observation and logical thinking while helping diversify the gameplay loop. The game's greatest strength lies in its memorable enemies. The dolls are far more disturbing than their toy-like appearance initially suggests, moving with unnatural behavior that transforms familiar childhood imagery into something deeply unsettling. Their unpredictable actions keep encounters tense, while the overall creature design reinforces the game's unique identity within the survival horror genre. Instead of presenting generic monsters, Welcome to Doll Town builds its horror around a concept that remains consistently effective from beginning to end. Visually, the game combines stylized graphics with dark environmental design to create a world filled with suspense. Dim lighting, abandoned structures, and carefully crafted environmental details help establish an oppressive mood that never feels repetitive. The visual presentation recalls the spirit of classic survival horror games while incorporating modern lighting effects that enhance immersion. Complementing the graphics is a well-crafted soundscape filled with ambient noises, eerie silence, distant mechanical sounds, and unsettling audio cues that constantly remind players they are not alone. The restrained musical score allows environmental sounds to become just as frightening as the enemies themselves. Beyond its horror elements, the story explores themes of tragedy, corruption, and the consequences of hidden secrets. As players uncover more about the town and its cursed inhabitants, the narrative gradually shifts from simple survival to understanding the origins of the nightmare. This emotional foundation gives the game additional depth, making the journey more engaging than a straightforward horror experience. The mystery remains one of the strongest motivations for continuing through each new location. The game is not entirely without shortcomings. Some sections may progress at a deliberately slow pace, particularly for players who prefer action-heavy horror titles. Combat mechanics can occasionally feel less polished than the exploration and atmosphere, and inventory management may require patience during longer sessions. However, these issues rarely overshadow the overall experience, especially for players who appreciate methodical survival horror built around suspense rather than constant action. Welcome to Doll Town succeeds by delivering a consistently eerie adventure that blends exploration, resource management, puzzle-solving, and psychological horror into a cohesive package. Its haunting environments, imaginative enemy design, and steadily unfolding narrative create an experience that captures the essence of classic survival horror while presenting an original premise centered on its disturbing doll-filled world. Fans of atmospheric horror games who enjoy uncovering mysteries at their own pace will likely find plenty to appreciate in this unsettling journey. Rating: 7/10
I sure did brother it up. brother
it was a good broken troll game
♦Recomend: Yes, if you like story driven games. ♦Story: Dark themes and well written. Story keeps you engaged. Little confused at first but once I wrapped my head around how it's been done, I enjoyed it. Hit close to home a couple of times. ♦Soundtrack: Beautifully done and suits it's story parts. Would listen to on repeat. ♦Visuals: Chosen visuals are done well. Definitely gives a Silent Hill vibe. The tearing around the edge of town or inside the buildings is a nice touch. ♦Problems: Camera bounced around in some areas due to angles. Character/camera would continue to move after removing hands from the keyboard. *Did result in some unnecessary jump scares into dolls XD*, this could also be from the size of my screen. Final stretch as the cat outside, camera was very sensitive. ♦Suggestions: Window screen size settings.
