Conclusion—6/10
Would I buy it while discounted to around $5? Yes, 100%. Would I buy it while discounted to around $10? I'd have to think about it but probably yes. Would I buy it at full price? No. It's a unique experience but it's short (and sweet). The art style and sound design are amazing; it's all quite beautiful. However, I just didn't find the story interesting enough to save it from a lackluster replay value and fun. It was enjoyable at first but the mechanics did start to get old, especially with how slow you move. The last act is great and really ties things together, but I don't think I could justify a higher rating. Even though it's not particularly long or difficult, it does what it sets out to do very well. If you're interested in kicking back for a couple hours and looking at a pretty world while listening to some nice music, then you'll have a blast. The mechanics feel very unique and add to the fun factor for sure. It's not like anything I have played before which is always a boost.
Story—4.5/10
While there were a few very touching moments, the story was fairly bland and straightforward. It wasn't so bad it made me role my eyes, but it wasn't anything special. It's really carried by how cute the characters.
Graphics/Art Style—9/10
This is the best part of the game (maybe other than the unique concept). The graphics are incredible to look at. There is so much detail packed into the world when you look around. Even playing as Blind is enjoyable because of the direction the creators took with the art style. I would say that the trailer on steam and the pictures don't do the art style justice (though they inject much more action than there actually is). Also, a special shout out to the music in this game. A great soundtrack and sound design in general. The contrast between Deaf and Blind in what they hear is always fun to switch between to get a different perspective. Admittedly, I spent most of the time playing as Deaf because I thought the world was so nice to look at though.
Replay Value—3/10
I don't think there's much here unless you're hunting the achievements. Maybe a game you pick up once a year to play late one night, but not something I'd put on my calendar to play again. By the end of the game the mechanics have become fairly repetitive and there's only one way to solve each level.
Cost:Value Ratio—5/10
I bought this on sale for $4.49. I think that's about the right price and I would not pay anything more than $10 for this game. While the visuals are amazing and the story is touching at times, it's something that you probably play through once and then you're done. I'm not sure the value is there to pay full price.
Game Length—10/10
I found that the game cut off at just the right time when I was starting to get tired of the game. You get a good enough taste for the mechanics and once you feel the puzzles repeating, it hits you with a very enjoyable (and cute) last level before ending.
Complexity—8/10
The game play mechanics were extremely fun and just complicated enough to require some thought without making me question my life choices. I think some of the puzzles could have been harder since most were likely solvable by a young child. However, it seems like the puzzles are meant more as a background to the art.
Tediousness/Bugs—5/10
I found that the movement speed being as slow as it was a bit grating at the end. While at first it was great since it forces you to take in the amazing art style, towards the end I was wishing I could move just a bit faster. More importantly, there were some tedious puzzles which (I believe) just required assisted trial and error (though perhaps I was missing something). Do not try to walk across beams . . . this will crash your game.
Weighing the Factors
For a game like this, I can't imagine you're playing it for much more than the story and the visuals. As such, my weighted formula for total score is as follows:
(Fun+(2*Story)+(3*Graphics)+ReplayValue+CostValue+(2*GameLength)+(1/2*Complexity)-(3*Tediousness))/10.5
≈6

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
