Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 26 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

best gladiator game on the market
This game is adorable and much deeper than it looks. It's fun, addictive, at times hilarious and when you master the fighting, extremely rewarding. I bought it very early in the Early Access and it was already good. The Dev have been constantly tweaking, adjusting, reworking and upgrading since and the game as actually become BETTER (that doesn't seem to be the standard anymore, so good job) both in looks, mechanics and scope. Only gripe, the lack of meaningful "meta" progress between runs and the baffling lack of an hall of fame or a way to track all the guys you brought to glory or who failed miserably and got murdered lol. If that's the only gripe with the game, means everything else is good. So, thumb up.

I give it a solid 10/10, Fun action packed fights, training your fighter and winning feels genuinely good as you can see and feel the training pay off.
Shielded enemies are a bit too op, when fighting multiple + an elite(ex. taskmaster) seems really impossible.
mooie game voor kort plezier leuk na het werk
6/10, tournaments from mount&blade turned into own game. Alright for EA, but needs a lot more effort to be more than a one-shot game. The game is currently extremely janky and unbalanced. Some of jank can be discarded as user error as the combat is supposed to be physics-based, and as a result is somewhat more complicated. However, I felt that a lot of the balancing steers the player away from the more fun ways to engage with this game. First and foremost, the stamina is very restrictive. It runs out way too quick and takes way too long to recover. This is probably meant to limit how much you can attack, and force you into blocking/parrying, but what I ended up seeing is that most of the time I played I spent just awkwardly walking around the arena with enemies right at my heels, getting a few hits here and there when the opportunity arose. Rather than an exciting fighting game it ended up becoming an awkward herding puzzle. Most enemies can not deal with you simply walking away from them, with maybe the occasional "boss"-type guy being fast enough to catch up and get a cheeky hit in, but even that felt like undeserved jank rather than the game trying to punish me for playing "incorrectly". There are a lot of different weapons to choose from (even if they are functionally mostly the same), but sadly the weapons come off as very underpowered due to the AI's obsession with shields. I had many instances where the enemy would stop fighting me just to run across the map into some random ditch to pick up a shield. Breaking these shields takes a lot of effort and feels very frustrating to work against. Admittedly, there is a factor of the game's fighting system being physics-based and needing some time to adjust, but flip-side is that this is very common even on low-level fights and as such might murder the motivation to learn this game. Managerial game around the fighting feels very shallow.. There is a shop where you are meant to get equipment, but it is randomized, you get very limited inventory, and good stuff is prohibitively expensive, so I did not interact with it too much. It could be a bit more engaging, but maybe this is fine as it also gets out of your way very quickly to allow you to concentrate on the fights. Controls feel very clunky and unpolished. For example, your character will drop their shield after you attack with your weapon requiring you to press the button again to get your shield up. Some attacks might come off weird, or not even occur at all due to characters' limbs getting stuck or something, I am not really sure. Level geometry might eat your attacks, especially if you are fighting with longer weapons (though, this may be okay if the game signals this properly). Dashes are very underpowered and I basically never used them. Overall, "okay" for an EA, but needs a lot of effort to be more than one-shot experience. At the current state it is maybe recommendable for fans of mount&blade-style sword fighting who can tolerate some jankiness.
Really addictive. Ain't had this much fun in a long time. 10/10
I love this game! Combat similar to mount and blade with a rougelike system. Definitely recommend.
10/10
3 mins broke a shield then he flashed away and came back with an even better one :(
