Time moves forward only when you do in the dungeons of WazHack. Think your way out of problems instead of just spamming 'attack' and 'drink healing potion'.

One of the hidden gems on Steam
Don't let the $1 Xbox Live Arcade graphics fool you, this game is great. This game is incredibly hard and it took me almost 100hr to beat the game for the first time. This is definitely a "wiki" game like Terraria where you will have 5+ tabs open while you play to figure out what is going on. Wazhack has a lot of replay value and a halfway functional online feature if you can get a buddy or two to play with you, but you will never see someone in an open lobby waiting to play with you. Game gets and overall 9/10
Fun game inspired by NetHack with a large variety of classes. I have about 20 more hours on the mobile version.

Good laugh was had when I turned into a giant rat😅
There is a lot of good funky stuff going on here. Cheers
A very special game that I think fans of classic games should try!
Is it an old game? Yes. Are NetHack or Rogue old games? Yes. Are all three fun? YES! Time moves when you do, keeps up "the tradition" that way. Less complex than Nethack while being a bit more accessible graphics-wise.
Challenging dungeon crawler with fun combat. Would be funner if my friends didn't waste all my consumables.
Wazhack is a brilliant game that's not for everyone. The game has depth, but requires a lot of dedication and frustration to learn. You will die a lot and almost always you will find that there was a solution in your inventory. Only for those of us that enjoy spending a lot of time reading about the game on wiki's to grok it. positives * complexity * challenging * true roguelike negatives * the start can be RNG dependent * too long (ending a run gets to be a repetitive chore if you get that far)
