A truly great coop experience, that is almost as much fun solo. This is worth the a pick up, especially on sale if you have a friend or two to play with. The combat and weapon play is where the game shines. In a lot of ways (no shade!) I found this game to be a lot like Godfall, but better in almost everyway, though certainly different from an art style perspective. It's impossible to miss that this was built to be an action mmo, and salvaged into the the single player/coop game that it is... but damn did the developers do a great job pivoting. You'll know what I mean when you complete a quest and get a lengthy exposition dump, from characters that never move from their spot in town. The voice acting is decent, the story interesting, but the pacing issues make it feel kind wonkey and uneven, basically ignorable if you prefer to skip it. My only regret is I paid the sale price. For the fun hours I have spent, I owe the developers a bit more. I will pick up the supporters pack. I hope the dev team sticks together, I'll be watching for their next project.
