Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I grew up on the Dynasty warriors games and love them
worthless game.... bosses that just endless attack till you die........
I'd argue it's good even if you're new. Sure, this is kind of like a big party for Warriors characters, but other than the Dynasty Warriors cast, there's also a bunch of other people I didn't even know. Oh, and Joan of Arc! I know that one! She's crap though, like not quite Diao Chan levels of crap, just crap. I've played this many years ago when it released, but briefly, I forgot that there's no English voice acting! Frankly I did really miss it in this game, some of the voice acting sounds great, some is worse than the English voicing and frankly some characters, like Xiaoqiao in particular, make my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ears bleed; literally I had to skip all her dialogue as I was in physical discomfort every time she projected her shrill, spine-chilling high pitched baby-voice squeals directly into my headphones. Not many characters were like her though, fortunately. The biggest downside is, without the English voices, it's much less immersive; you have to look away from the action constantly to get what's going on, which to be fair, it's not the most difficult game, but it ruins the flow for sure, and I did miss goals often enough, that I would have wanted to pay attention to. You fight a LOT of the same three demon officers too, so you'll hear the same voice lines over and over and OVER again when you face them; they should have recorded at least 10 introductions each, not just... ONE..., considering how often you face them, in basically every single level of the game, multiple times. The game, otherwise, is very entertaining; it plays a lot like Dynasty Warriors 8 which I'd argue is the best overall. It's actually cool playing as the characters you've never heard of too, so if you don't know much about these games you'll still have fun discovering how people play. You also have some freedom in the attributes you fuse into your weapons, and you can choose the ones that match your playstyle for that character. Some characters, of course, are completely useless. Some of the "SWORD MAN" characters, and some girls especially, like Diao Chan as mentioned, are just really bad. I found Huang Gai sucks in this game too, at least the couple of levels I bothered to try and play with him. He has an issue where he's too slow, so everyone interrupts him constantly. Essentially, the characters that don't work, either: A: Get interrupted all the time, or B: Have an extremely narrow attack range... which itself can lead to A. The worst characters have both issues. Even my great love Zhu Rong is a joke in this; she's the opposite of Huang Gai in that she's extremely fast, but with her, nobody actually cares about her attacks at all, even if it's killing them, everyone just looks at her like she's doing nothing and smacks her into the air constantly. Before you say "Uh AcTuAlLy If YoU uSe [SPECIFIC ITEM] aNd UnlOCk [SPECIFIC WEAPON] By PlaYiNg [I HATE MYSELF CHALLENGE] on [ULTRA INSANE] DifFiCUlty AlOng wItH [SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES] aNd FuSe iT [1000 TIMES] sHEs OnE oF tHe BeSt ChArActErS iN tHe GaMe"... I'm sure, I just don't play a Warriors game to make my existence a misery, I play to make 1000s of poorly trained soldiers existence a misery with long unnecessarily brutal combinations before they're granted the sweet release of death, after which my character makes a quirky remark showcasing their impressive ability to keep count, and obviously if these guys keep beating up Zhu Rong like this I'll stick level 100 Lu Bu on them on easy. You do have to look at the potential of a character of course, not only how they are to begin with, but you have to also decide whether it's worth the stress or points investment to level them, and characters that get interrupted all the time will mostly still get interrupted at higher levels, just it won't matter as much. Speaking of Lu Bu, he's always been my favourite and still a blast to play, many of the characters are fun. I discovered I loved playing as Da Ji too, as she has a great flow, and it's very cathartic when she dances into a crowd of enemies, smacking them to death in every direction. Other favourites to play were newcomer Kaguya, who in a way played like Zhuge Liang did in ...one of the games (who himself has been nerfed a bit here). I'd also recommend Ayane, even though I have no idea who she is. Before I unlocked Lu Bu I liked playing as Temu Lu Bu, Keiji Maeda (I had to look his name up). I wasn't surprised I liked him though, as he's budget Lu Bu, but I was surprised by a fair few character's play styles being as cool as they were. I think you'll get a lot of enjoyment in the discovery aspect alone; some very unassuming characters are great. As with Zhuge Liang, some have been made less great. Ling Tong has had a strange run; he was insanely fun when he was introduced as a playable character, but in some of the games he's different then he's sort of normal in this one? He's still not quite the same though. Some characters are oversold too, "SuCh pOwEr" or "He Is UnMaTcHed" or "ThE GrEatEsT sWoRdSmAn UndEr ThE sUn" and they end up very mediocre to play. And I remember laughing at having everyone going to immense effort to rescue people like Sun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Quan, like he's some sort of reward! I have to say, I never liked the tiny Musou thing; they used to be something to really look forward to, like in Dynasty Warriors 3 you'd end up with a massive, unbalanced bar going all the way across the entire map, and you could smash people to death with insane, explosive Musous that you'd have to have a nap halfway through to finish. Many of these attacks are now just "boom, done". I don't know why they changed to this at all. Some characters have great Musou attacks, but with many it's just a let down, that includes my favourite, Lu Bu. You do get some extra attacks though, that I had to look up an online tutorial to do, because the game doesn't even tell you about it or what it does. (For example: The blue bar at the bottom of your portrait is for a group attack, pull both triggers to do it and you're invincible during the attack. You get gems using this move if you play on Normal or higher; gems can be used to buy special weapons that turn up in the store as you advance the story.) See? Two sentences, would have been easy enough to include! Story Mode is the bulk of what I played, although you can get the most powerful weapons (Called X-Weapons, which you craft) from playing Gauntlet Mode, I just didn't really enjoy that mode myself, so I don't know if I'll bother. Story Mode itself I do recommend! It's a lot of fun, and I do think "a lot of fun" is an important review criteria! I don't know why people think it isn't! I haven't even nearly completed it yet, when I do have many of the characters unlocked, but... it's very fun. It does just feel like a party all the time, it's very light-hearted and knows what it is, without being too annoying about it. I liked watching the characters interact in cutscenes and around the camp, even if you miss a lot of their in-game banter because of the voice acting already mentioned. Not having English voice acting was a big negative for me, but despite any faults, this is basically the culmination of nearly everything good about the Warriors series, and it's too good and too entertaining not to recommend; I know Dynasty Warriors, I don't know Samurai Warriors, I didn't play Orochi 1 or 2 first, and I didn't know anyone else, but I still really enjoyed this, so give it a try, even if you're new.
