Warp Drive

Simple to learn, hard to master. Although my save file keeps being reset after (almost) every new update, the game is still great nonetheless. I never thought that a game with only a drift and a combination of a boost and attack system would be this much fun. The game also has a way of changing your ride's stats, and while a way to save presets of specific ship parts for quick switching would be cool, a system like that is an easy way to entertain me. The tracks are great too. Frozen Giants Gorge is my favorite. Can't wait to play that online. All in all, Warp Drive is a pretty great entry point for someone more accustomed to racing with wheels and wishing to get into AG (Anti-Gravity) racing games with a game that doesn't throw you into the deep end with mechanics like airbreaks and pitch shifting. 4.4.2022 Edit: There has been a new update which despite adding a new Challenge Mode which gives the players specific objectives to complete, has also taken some of the crystal system's uniqueness away by introducing two extra items which resemble those from various other games. Along with these changes, a few VERY ugly glitches have raised their heads which do ruin the experience. Some jumps cause my ship to teleport all over the place upon landing (My ship merged with an iceberg in Frozen Giants Gorge and i couldn't proceed for example), and the new Rocket item never wants to home in on it's target, rather choosing to tailgate them for whatever reason. In it's current state, i do not recommend this game.

A really fast-paced and fun racing game with a beautiful aesthetic as well as a decent amount of content for the price!
