I love this game, definitely recommend for puzzle fans. The levels get nice and difficult but never unfair. It's clear how each game element works - steps, gems, enemies, teleporting, conveyors, swapping, levers, pits etc. There's no undo button but you can drop a checkpoint flag, so you can explore or try different ideas without losing your level position. Solving the puzzles requires a nice mix of logical deduction for what the order must be and experimentation to try out different ideas. The aesthetic is simple but fun and nostalgic. The focus is on the puzzles not the story, but there are a few NPCs to reach as well as your friend Jess and the wizard. He speaks in deliberately funny English, you can switch to standard English or Portuguese in the settings if you want but the silly version is charming. There's a nice little ending sequence if you make it that far too.
Warlock's Tower is a very charismatic retro puzzle. The world is threatened by the wizard and the only chance to save him is through the postman who carries the letter of apology to the wizard. The story sounds silly, and it is, and it makes it so fun in this crazy context. The rooms are very diverse, the challenges have a good learning scale, sometimes they are very difficult and challenging, but most of them are fun. The mechanics are very clear and easy to understand and apply (the hard part is getting to the end of the rooms). This game is ideal for those who like to have fun playing puzzles and like to found challenges along the way.

Somehow, the levels where you don't have a step counter were the hardest. The last two levels of this game cost me so many braincells. I do not understand monster pathing at all. Loved playing this game though, stumped me with puzzles that were very challenging but apparently not impossible.
NOTA: 7/10
É um ótimo jogo.
This game provides around 7+ hours of great puzzle solving, and it's so good that I wish it had user generated levels.
