Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

About
All of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War in one definitive package. Experience this genre-defining Warhammer 40,000 classic in all its blood-soaked glory, including four complete campaigns, nine full-fledged factions, and over 100 maps – all in one game.
Upon its release in 2004, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War quickly established itself as one of the all-time great real-time strategy games and a glorious celebration of Games Workshop’s storied far future of the 41st Millennium. The Definitive Edition celebrates this seminal Warhammer 40,000 title with updates that refine the experience for modern hardware and secure the game’s legacy for years to come.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition delivers image-based lighting and upgraded unit textures, enhancing the overall presentation. Improved world lighting, unit reflections, more detailed shadows, surface gloss, and emissive lighting make for a superior experience, while retaining the classic Dawn of War feel.
At Announce, we heard that our players wanted to see pathfinding improved. We have since added pathfinding updates that enable easier unit management, making for a smoother, more immersive experience.
Additionally, all units in the game have received texture upscaling of at least four times their original resolution, making for more detailed units, and a more readable experience.
Now on a 64-bit platform to support the ongoing efforts of the modding community, the Definitive Edition also includes an integrated Mod Manager and is compatible with over 20 years of lovingly crafted Community Mods.
An improved gameplay camera shows the battlefield like never before, working seamlessly on modern systems, including 4K displays. Increased draw distances make for a more cinematic experience, and the HUD and screen layout have been optimized for modern widescreen viewing.

Reviews
I could say whatever else I could, but the fact that they made the Dark Eldar and the Sisters of Battle feel like actual factions instead of the opposite of AoM:HD's version of China makes me easily recommend this. I just wished it launched in a better state than it did a year ago.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

WARNING: TOO MUCH TEXT, READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION I unknowingly sent multiple Scout Marines to a suicide reconnaissance mission of an Ork camp. By not watching what my dumbass was about to press, i accidentally deactivated their camouflage and then proceeded to get jumped by the entirety of the green mushroom bunch. But since i can now watch where the Ork defenses were, i managed to plan out my next moves: 1) Amassing of what would be considered a pretty solid army that could be enough to level the entirety of the camping, and 2) Deciding the optimal order of what structures i should destroy first. After careful analysis, i set out my counterattack, i divided my army into three smaller squads and each of them would flank the entries of the camp. The first squad got there just fine and started blasting the artillery towers, the second one got some difficulty reaching there and got only into a ditch near the entry since it was heavily guarded, they didn't have enough manpower compared to the other squads and only relied in ranged combat, but i could just stand my ground in the ditch and call reinforcements if someone fell, so it was ok. But the real problem was the third one, at first they were doing good and their path to the camp was a long one, so i just put my attention to the other two squads in the meantime while they were about to arrive, 𝘉𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢. Turns out the third squad got sidetracked into 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 Ork camp i did not account for because of the fog of war, half of the squad barely got out and the other half got decimated and got to the objective straight up limping. When all the squads (or what was left of them) regrouped, it was a flair of Marines and Orks getting blown into the sky, alongside the lightshow that were the explosions and energy blasts, i tried my best to spam the reinforce and rally buttons, but sometimes it was to overwhelming for them. After the skirmish ended, 90% of the floor was covered with corpses of Marines and Orks alike, only 3 marines were standing ready to capture the requisition point... Out of six. This game perfectly encapsulates the philosophy of WH40K, every win comes with a loss just as equal, if not, more heavy than your supposed victory and every unit's life can be easily replaced as pushing a button, while your devotion and bravery is admirable, reinforcements could easily fit those requirements, and even those are just as replacable. Everyone is just a tool and vessel to carry out an impossible mission laid out by forces beyond our understanding, in safety from the horrendous powers that corrupt the reality of an infinity of lives that are simply told to believe or die. In short, it's a good game 9/10.
