Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty much Advance Wars, but done very well with a few twists and a lot of fun scenarios to keep it fresh. If you like Advance Wars, pretty sure you'll like this as well.

This game is a good example how hard game design is. On the surface, Wargroove is just a clone of Advance Wars with its own twists and tweaks, very polished game, all good. I welcomed the tweaks in hope, that they would provide a fresh experience, but the game simply isn't fun. It just goes to show how delicately balanced the Advance Wars games are and how messing with the balance, makes the gameplay fall apart. The main problems are: - expensive units compared to income, you can usually build just one or two at a time - places to build units waaay too far from the battles, maps often lack forward outposts - this means you need to wait 3-4 turns before the units actually get to battle and at that point they may be ill suited for the current situation, this also creates a lot of busywork transporting the units to the front - the inability to merge damaged units and the capturing and healing system just sucks This all decreases the speed, the intensity and the push-and-pull dynamics of the game. I appreciate that the developers wanted to evolve the formula, but it was such a well oiled machine, that each change just made it worse. Just play Advance Wars, emulators are your friends, the reboot and Dual Strike are the best IMO.
Wargroove is medieval Advanced wars with the co replaced with a Fire emblem leader unit. If you played those games you know what to expect but many units will can 1shot other units. In advance wars outside co powers very few units could 1shot another unit. This and the fact most fights are learning a new unit or scripted in some way and up limiting the players freedom. This is more a neutral then a negative as it's a Great game for people who love anything advance wars/fire emblem and I think this could shine with the player made levels but the story mode as is lacks player choice.
"Mom, can we have Advance Wars?" "No, we have Advance Wars at home." Advance Wars at home:
If you like advance wars type games / paper scissors rock combat, you will love this. Lots of content. Not sure if I ever finished the last battle of the main campaign or not. Game can be quite hard so you will lose at least sometimes.
