War Remains: Dan Carlin Presents an Immersive Memory

Very short VR experience about the Great War written and narrated by Dan Carlin. Since it's a simple "3D movie", my only complain is the apparent lack of a repositioning or re-centering option while it's playing out.

This was a terrifying experience of WW1. The game plays out almost like a horror movie. Dan Carlin was a great tour guide through each horrifying event. There were moments where I couldn't believe what these soldiers went through. My only complaint was it was very short and I hope they do more of these.

The most convenient and immersive WWI museum ever presented.

Unfortunately when i thought the intro is over, the actual thing is over. Its only a few minutes long, some scenes make you feel uneasy; standing in a wooden bunker and you listen to some real notes of someone who experienced a 24h artillery bombardtment. But its just too short, even for only 4€.

This is great, great visuals and frankly a great "host". The only downside is the length. I felt immersed and the BOOM, the credits started rolling.

I liked how you get a glimpse into WW1 but the "game" was way to short and low quality. I wished I could "walked" around a larger area and take in the scenery more. Maybe even take a look at a few famous battles take took place during the war. I would love to have the chance to take a look inside a tank, experience a horrified gas attack with you standing there with your mask, or stand next to an artillery base doing some bombing, see how that worked. Or maybe have a chance to sit inside a plane doing a overhead view of the trench network. I dont need to have interaction with the world like inside a game, but I would like if it was a longer history lession. I would only recommend this experience during a very big sale, like less then 1euro or something, because of how short it was. But overall it not bad, the experience is just not well developed and could be a good base for something bigger in the future.

great this tells small amount of history what is washing every day more and more and is getting forgotten. so ye i think this is good content. it could have more scale in it. but still it was master piece. i think more people should really think about what people have gone through on ww1-2. people aren't happy anymore what they have they wan't more and more. i hope developers could make more of these to show people the reality of the world. and i hope no one gets mad for this. i hope everyone has safe days and life.
