I'll eat up any game made by this dude. Did not disappoint. Very meditative game :3

A very forgiving game, in all aspects

Such a good game! It has lots of cozy elements that I like from other farm sim games, mixed with beautiful visuals and a bitter-sweet story. All the adventurers you meet along the way are meant to make you reflect on the idea that we should always be productive and achieving something great, when it is enough to exist. :) There are some sweet moments to enjoy here. I will be playing this again!

I began this game at a moment when i just couldn't bring myself to finish any game, i guess it arrived at the perfect time into my life. I'm feeling better now with the lessons this game gave me about patience, change and the value of not being productive.

If you're someone who looks for a cozy / relaxing game with an amazing story, Wanderstop would be your cup of tea (pun intended), but if you're someone who looks for fun / exciting gameplay loops, I'd say look elsewhere. Personally I find the story of Alta deeply resonating and it hits me probably harder than 90% of the game Ive played, but at the end of the day a game is a game and I'd say in terms of gameplay it definitely has room of improvement. I'd still give a recommend since to me the emotional journey of Alta more or less makes up for its lackluster gameplay.

When I first completed this game, I appreciated it but considered myself not to be the target audience for the message. However, the more I simmer on it, the more and more I come to appreciate it. I don't think I've ever had a game where I've had this sort of fermenting appreciation before. Highly recommended, especially after experiencing prior Davey Wreden games.

I absolutely love the story/ message. 10/ 10 - would recommend!
