Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My first calm game I ever played it was an amazing game and I loved making tea. Please make another tea game!
Wanderstop is not a game about healing wounds. It's a game about sitting with them. There's something quietly radical about that. No grand arc, no triumphant resolution. Just a small tea shop at the edge of a forest, and the unhurried rhythm of tending to it. Brewing, planting, listening. The world slows down, and so do you. The image that keeps coming back to me is a children's bandage — the kind plastered on a scraped knee not because it does much, but because it matters. It doesn't close anything. It doesn't make the hurt disappear. But it says: I see it. It's okay. You're okay. And somehow, that's enough to stop the crying. Alta doesn't want to be here. She wants motion, purpose, the clean satisfaction of being useful. What she gets instead is stillness — and the slow, reluctant discovery that stillness has something to offer too. That tension is where the game lives. And where you might recognize yourself, if you let it. Wanderstop won't change anything. But it will sit beside you for a while. Warm, gentle, and just present enough to matter.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

This one didn't click with me the way I hoped it would, likely because its premise goes against what I enjoy in life sim games. The dialogue with various characters was interesting enough to keep me playing to the end, but it didn't carry the rest of the package enough for me to recommend it.
Bão. Sai com depressão, vontade de tomar chá e chorar. 10/10.
Sweet, relaxing, thought provoking. Give it a try if people say you work too much.
It's a piece of therapeutic art first, game second. The story is great. Characters are meaningful and colourful. Don't expect anything and the game will reward you
I will forever love every game from Davey Wreden. Please don't let negativity bring you down! There will always be someone who doesn't like something you do. You're an amazing writer <3
In Wanderstop/The Clearing you're playing a woman who has fought battles all her life, but is "saved" after a breakdown in the middle of a magic forest by a harmless looking ponderous guy named Boro who appears nice, tries to win her/your sympathy by listening to her/you ... but then all of a sudden he shoves his whole job onto her/you and from then on does nothing but play with his pet birds all day, to wait for her/you to talk to him or serve him some tea, after which he will speak ... mostly about himself, of course. If you're an actual woman as a player, this will not come as a surprise to you. Oh, and wouldn't you know: like so many other "nice guys" out there Boro is also quite into mansplaining, like about the job and about pretty much every topic you might bring up, even though he knows pretty much nothing: "Why are things the way they are? The magic forest does it I guess. Hahaha...". You thought this game was about burnout? No, it's not. For Alta (the character you're playing) it's about guilt actually. Which is good, because after a REAL burnout, the last thing you should do is start working right away. And you should definitely avoid letting people burden you with their issues, like some of those teahouse guests do in this game. Even though Boro had the nerve to tell you that collecting tea leaves, growing plants in the garden, crossbreeding seeds and transforming plants by using mushrooms, mixing the right kind of tea for every guest, elaborately brewing tea and then serving guests, talking to them too, doing some weeding, sweeping leaves and cleaning up dirty mugs is "resting" - it isn't. Don't believe him. Boro isn't a therapist. Neither is Alta. Which is sad because some of the teahouse guests sure would need some solid help, but the character you're playing is busy enough fighting her own demons, so you as a player can do nothing but watch while things are going from bad to worse for some of the guests right in front of your eyes. There is no dialogue option or anything you can do to "save" them. Frustrating? Better get used to it, because this game can make you feel frustrated over and over again. But actually, it doesn't matter. Nothing really matters. Not in this game anyways. The teahouse guests will not just leave at the end of every chapter, but instead some of them will stay ... and stay silent. Yes, they will completely stop talking to you/Alta from some point on, which indicates that the chapter is now ending. If you have felt sympathy for these virtual characters, this blatant ghosting can effectively cure you from any helper syndrome you might have started to develop. Makes you face reality - NPCs are not alive, and they don't actually feel anything, no matter what they "say". Good for you. Remember that next time you have a "conversation" with a chatbot or any LLM AI ! Other players might have warned you before: as soon as you start the next chapter, only one or two items that certain teahouse guests gave you (or placed into the clearing), also the pictures you took with the ingame camera and placed into picture frames inside the tea shop and some art you put into these frames will still be there - everything else will be gone. You grew dozens of plants in order to fill all the empty pots in and around the house? You hybridized mushrooms into giant ones just to make the woods or garden look nicer? You loved to collect all kinds of mugs and trinkets (that you can also grow on plants)? Well, you better have made screenshots as a lasting memory or a copy of your savegame into another folder, because as soon as you proceed into the next chapter, nothing of all of that will be left. And no, you cannot simply "go back" to where you were before by selecting an earlier chapter in the chapter selection - by this, you will only start the former chapter from scratch with everything gone, plus in this case, even all the picture frames will be empty again too. So... would I recommend the game!? Yes, I DO Please play it! I don't want to suffer all alone. So let me drag you down to keep me company in my misery :D Just kidding. Honestly - there's still a lot that makes the game loveable :) Mainly the gameplay itself is fun: growing plants by combining seeds, altering them with mushrooms, experimenting and trying to brew all kinds of tea (I very much recommend throwing all your tools and all kinds of trinkets into the pot!), plus enjoying the excellent music... Actually, these are enough reasons for me to re-enter the game from time to time and enjoy staying in the clearing for a while once again, not for Boro, not for Alta or for any teahouse guests - but just for me to take my time and simply enjoy the atmosphere. P.S.: I wish we could do even more with those funny mushrooms and trinkets... and brew green tea too! But throwing fresh tea leaves or whole tea bushes into the teapot doesn't produce green tea, but other effects instead. You might want to give it a try ;)
A game I really needed at this point in my life. It hit me as hard as any game I have ever played. It was made with care, vulnerability, and reflection and one day I wish I could make art like this
