Its frustrating and aggravating to use. I honestly don't know how they got things to behave like the did in the video. Of all the models I've tried, I can't get them to behave like in the video. This still needs plenty of work
Non importa la maggior parte degli oggetti, nemmeno quelli in 3mf disponibili nella libreria di Paint 3D
Wow! After getting familiar with the basic controls, this is seems like a very cool program. I was able to import the Smithsonian's 3D model of the interior of the Apollo 11 Command Module, scale it to full size, and then look all around the interior as if I was actually there. Thanks for the helpful tool! At $3.49 (June 26, 2021), this program is an awesome bargain.

Works pretty good. Files remain on your hard drive so I organized them all into a common folder system. haven't figured out how to get the transparency and bump maps to display properly or maybe that's a 'feature'.
Does what it needs to do
(Using Oculus Quest with Oculus Link) I just got my VR Headset and as a hobby modeler, I've been looking vor something... well, exactly like this. And, well, so far I'm not particulary diasppointed. Most stuff can be figured out pretty quickly, but others are not quite as easy to figure out. F.e. I'm having some problems to get materials and textures show up as I expected. So far, I couldn't find anything like that, but I'd be very happy if there was a documentation on how to setup the materials properly? (or maybe an external documentation in general, there are also some other functions I don't quite get. How example how I actually delete an object when chosing "Delete" in the Object Manager window. Tried pointing at the object with all buttons to no effect xD Personally, I'm using Blender 2.8 and have my materials set up for the Eevee renderer (so, the setup is somewhat compatible to the more classic Cycles renderer).
This is actually really good, especially for the price. It is the most flexible VR model viewer I am aware of. Gravity Sketch only imports OBJ for the free version. The main issue I had is getting models to import in a scale that made sense, especially STLs which are unitless. These came in so large, I was inside them and couldn't use the menu! Needs some development, but very easy to view CAD models in VR once you get used to it. Performance was good even for huge models.
Import just dont work. I tried any format any scale, any import settings, any imported model scale settings. It just dont work. when i try to import my model, i just have some annoying fart-like sound, i guess it informing me that something goes wrong during import. That's all. No any feedback. No information about what's going wrong.
I previously reviewed this software last year with a negative review. Now I own a high end PC with a Quest 2 and I have some new thoughts. This software is actually very good and detailed. For a solo developer this is outstanding and I hope for his/her/their success. This software does take a lot of power to run from my experience, previously I had a 2060 with a Ryzen 5 using a Samsung WMR headset and it could not run this at all due to the insane lag. I now have a 3070 with a Ryzen 7 and a Oculus Quest 2 and this runs perfectly smooth and I enjoy it. My only complaints are the .blend files don't seem to work and for people with a low end PC I'm not sure if it would run well. I'm changing my negative review to something I'd recommend to people wanting to see their models in VR.
This works pretty well! I've only just started playing around with the built-in content, as I mainly bought it to interact with existing models in 3D. The built-in resources are good, and the interface is fairly straightforward, so all good there. More importantly, I managed to import a number of pre-made figures from Poser, after converting them to .dae. It's is a dream come true to be able to see those in VR! I am getting a few issues with certain files though, when I just get the 'fart-noise' (sorry, saw it in another review, and it seemed so apt I nicked it!) when I try to import them. Is there a limit on file-sizes, or any other restrictions that might cause an import to fail? Also, any news on when (or if) we'll be able to import animated files? :)
