VR Model Viewer

I previously reviewed this software last year with a negative review. Now I own a high end PC with a Quest 2 and I have some new thoughts. This software is actually very good and detailed. For a solo developer this is outstanding and I hope for his/her/their success. This software does take a lot of power to run from my experience, previously I had a 2060 with a Ryzen 5 using a Samsung WMR headset and it could not run this at all due to the insane lag. I now have a 3070 with a Ryzen 7 and a Oculus Quest 2 and this runs perfectly smooth and I enjoy it. My only complaints are the .blend files don't seem to work and for people with a low end PC I'm not sure if it would run well. I'm changing my negative review to something I'd recommend to people wanting to see their models in VR.

This works pretty well! I've only just started playing around with the built-in content, as I mainly bought it to interact with existing models in 3D. The built-in resources are good, and the interface is fairly straightforward, so all good there. More importantly, I managed to import a number of pre-made figures from Poser, after converting them to .dae. It's is a dream come true to be able to see those in VR! I am getting a few issues with certain files though, when I just get the 'fart-noise' (sorry, saw it in another review, and it seemed so apt I nicked it!) when I try to import them. Is there a limit on file-sizes, or any other restrictions that might cause an import to fail? Also, any news on when (or if) we'll be able to import animated files? :)

Ive tried this with a Windows Mixed Reality headset and a Dell Inspiron 7577 with a Nvidia GTX 1050Ti with 8 GB RAM. Only see the flash screen and it loads into a black screen. Really disappointed was looking forward to using this app.

For the first using I am satisfy, import with textures is easy. Manipulate and placing an object little complicated, but also good. (Maybe as senior 3D graphic I have else habits). What I REALY missing is just basic walking without step jump. Walking is more intuitive, please implement this and for me will your product PERFECT :-) --- Hi, my mistake, i was searching in Setting/Position, and now I see that this opinion is under Setting/User. Thank you!! :-) Thank you developers! ---- Po prvnim spusteni spokojenost, import je velmi snadny. manipulace s objektem je trochu krkolomna, ale da se. Co ale vemi postradam je zakladni moznost pohybu tedy prochazeni/chozeni, - aktualne je moznost pohybu poze po skocich, coz neni prirozene. Pokud dojde v budoucim upgrade k implementaci, muzu nastroj pro me potreby povazovat za skvely. --- Moje chyba, nastaveni pohybu neni pod Setting/Position ale pod Setting/User :-) Diky moc vyvojarum!

Non importa la maggior parte degli oggetti, nemmeno quelli in 3mf disponibili nella libreria di Paint 3D

Pas terrible, prise en main anarchique, trop de bug. L'import de nos propre modèle 3D est vraiment pas au point.

Finally a painless way to take my CAD models into VR. Exactly what I've been looking for.
