I used to play this when I was a kid, probably one of the first games I had, loved it. When as a kid it took me weeks to deal with all the secrets and now it's much easier for sure. :) He-he I will keep it in my library for my own kids to show them from what we started our gaming life))) Nostalgic masterpiece, definitely worth the full price

This game is *much* shorter than I remember. Just an hour. I guess, twenty years later all those puzzles and minigames don't really pose as much challenge as they did when I was a target audience, who'd think? Still, had fun, remembered old times, woke up some of my nostalgia. Also has some cool spooky aesthetics. If you played this as a kid, I recommend revisiting it, if you didn't - it might be a bit too simple and childish for you (but might be perfect for your kids, if they can stomach some very dated graphics)
nostalgic masterpiece. if you've played it before it will take around 30-60 min to play through, otherwise i think you have around 2-5 hours of gameplay. Definitely worth the full price.
A charming, classic point and click adventure game with a voodoo/pirate theme and a juvenile mood. It is pretty short and accesible (it seems to be targeted to kids), but if you like this kind of games, you'll have a great time for sure! The art style is rich, the voice acting pretty good and the FMV cinematics are a delight from its era. The music and the atmosphere are also great. This modern re-release comes with four languages and some delightful extra goodies that will immerse and help you in the adventure.
I'm flooded with nostalgia with this game. This is similar to what a Monkey Island game is. It even came out months before The Curse of Monkey Island back then in 1997. Many people in latin america and spain have nostalgia of the spanish speaking version of Voodo Kid. It think is a good game for a kid 8 to 10 years old kid. Very short, easy but fun to solve and very etravagant kind of like a Tim Burton movie. Oh! and these kind of games back then made me being interested in 3D software. It was awesome to replay these after years. I come back every once in a while. BTW, years ago I was able to talk to Eric Sterling Collins one of the devs of the game. He was kind enough to send me original concept art never released before (even not in the big box version of the game which I own). I put that together in this short video for those interested ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnhAswMeL40 Extras: The FMV's upscaled: https://youtu.be/_qslneoPSJg Unboxing of the Big Box Game: https://youtu.be/QwlJZQrnBR4
I received this game as a birthday gift from a childhood friend. Not long after, we lost touch, and years later, I learned of his tragic passing. Now, more than 25 years later, I finally returned to this game, and with it, all the memories of carefree childhood and old friendships came rushing back. The visual design is absolutely stunning, and playing it again after so many years was a truly emotional experience. I'm grateful for this journey back in time, and I highly recommend this game.
