I would love to recommend this game.
I have been enjoying the gam so far, I've been playing on potato mode and the launch option it says to use if the first lags. during 2 parts of the game, the frames drop to absurd rates. the first part (spoilers for the actual game) is
when you turn the lights on in the Sine Lab place, when the black fog loads in
and the 2nd is
the boss fight during Lilly.
Due to the 2nd spoiler tag, I am unable to progress, which is a shame, because I was enjoying the game. unfortunately, I cannot recommend a game I haven't completed. Hopefully this issue can be fixed, because I would love to recommend it.
Great Game but look at that kitty, whoever pass by can pet it and give it a thumbs up. Have a nice day :3 /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__)

good game, story 10/10, music 10/10, gameplay 10/10, petting the cats around the map 10/10 its like inspired by undertale but still its hella cool
Great game with nice art style and a short but engaging story. I do wish we had gotten a bit more story content, but most of the important questions were answered, so I can't really complain. All of the bosses were fun to fight, although not too challenging. So, if you have a free afternoon or just searching for something new to play this game is worth checking out, especially since its free.
Developed and published by Innocent Soul, Void of Lilly is a free-to-play indie adventure that combines pixel-art visuals, narrative exploration, RPG progression, and bullet hell combat into a surprisingly cohesive package. Although the experience is intentionally brief, lasting around one to two hours, it uses its limited runtime efficiently by delivering a focused story that avoids unnecessary detours. Instead of overwhelming players with sprawling mechanics or endless quests, the game centers on a personal journey that gradually unfolds within a futuristic society shaped by tragedy, technology, and long-buried secrets. Its compact structure makes it easy to finish in a single sitting while still leaving a lasting impression through its atmosphere and storytelling. The story follows Ann, a young woman searching for her missing sister in Axis City, humanity's last refuge after the catastrophic spread of the mysterious Black Fog disease. This setting immediately establishes an intriguing science fiction backdrop where survival depends on advanced technology, yet danger and uncertainty continue to lurk beneath the city's polished surface. As Ann investigates her surroundings, players slowly uncover details about the world's history and the hidden truths surrounding the city's existence. The narrative balances emotional character moments with larger world-building, encouraging players to stay invested not only in Ann's personal mission but also in the mysteries surrounding civilization's fragile future. Visually, Void of Lilly embraces detailed pixel art that successfully blends retro-inspired aesthetics with a futuristic cyberpunk atmosphere. Every location feels carefully crafted, using colorful environments and subtle visual effects to create a world that is both inviting and mysterious. The artistic direction gives the game a distinct personality, making exploration enjoyable despite its relatively small scale. Small interactive touches, including opportunities to pet cats and discover optional details throughout the environment, help the world feel more alive while providing moments of charm that contrast with the darker themes of disease, isolation, and uncertainty. The soundtrack and overall presentation further reinforce the emotional tone, creating an immersive experience from beginning to end. Gameplay offers a satisfying mix of exploration and action. The bullet hell encounters require players to dodge dense patterns of incoming attacks while making effective use of hacking abilities to eliminate enemies. These battles demand awareness and quick reactions without becoming overwhelmingly difficult, allowing both newcomers and experienced players to enjoy the challenge. Light RPG mechanics support progression throughout the adventure, giving players a sense of development without complicating the experience. Since the game is designed around a shorter campaign, each gameplay system is introduced at a comfortable pace and remains relevant throughout the entire journey, preventing repetition while maintaining consistent momentum. What makes Void of Lilly particularly appealing is how well its different ideas complement one another. Rather than focusing exclusively on combat or narrative, it successfully combines storytelling, exploration, environmental design, and action into a balanced experience. The game's mature themes are presented thoughtfully, encouraging players to reflect on its world and characters instead of relying solely on spectacle. While those looking for a lengthy role-playing adventure with extensive customization may find the overall content limited, the game's concise design ensures that nearly every moment contributes to the overall experience. Its free-to-play model further increases its appeal, making it an easy recommendation for anyone interested in indie games with strong artistic direction and engaging gameplay. Void of Lilly demonstrates that a memorable adventure does not require an enormous budget or an exceptionally long campaign. Innocent Soul has created a polished indie title that successfully merges emotional storytelling, stylish pixel art, and enjoyable bullet hell mechanics into a rewarding short-form experience. Despite its modest length, it offers enough narrative depth, atmospheric world-building, and satisfying gameplay to leave players wanting more from its universe. For fans of story-driven indie adventures with action-focused combat and cyberpunk-inspired settings, this is a worthwhile journey that delivers far more quality than its runtime might initially suggest. can pet cat. 10/10
I love this game a lot, love the story, funny references and easter eggs, love the multiple endings and the secret fight in it, the story is great too, highly recommend this underrated game
