Tried to play this. The first thing I did was go into Options and set it to Full Screen. The game went black, the music continued to play, and... nothing. I waited and waited and waited... nothing. I couldn't alt-tab out of the game, so I eventually had to reboot my computer to do anything. This is a complete show-stopper, and I can't believe a game like this would release.

I play a lot of these types of HOG/Point and Click adventure games. This one has a few frustrating moments where finding what you're supposed to be doing can be annoying, especially if you're trying to click on a specific area (knowing it's the correct one) but the game doesn't read it. There's no fast travel on the map, making you backtrack quite a bit. There's nothing to indicate you have an option to do something in an area other than hint (which isn't helpful at all). Hint is SLOW to recharge and doesn't actually assist you. For example..you may need to find an object to complete a small puzzle. However, hint won't tell you where you should go next or what you might need to do. Instead, hint will lighten up the puzzle you need help with in the first place. Absolutely annoying. The Waterfall puzzle was a pain and even though I knew what to do, it took a lot of clicking to get the game to register. The minigame puzzles are okay..nothing really special. The HOG puzzles are awful, for the most part. It's one thing to make them difficult but just putting really blurry, indistinct or faded items isn't an appropriate way to do it, in my opinion. It can be hard to even know what you're looking at sometimes. But, the story was good, so there's that.

Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White war für mich leider nicht das was ich erwartet hatte. Die typisch trashige pseudo mysteriöse Atmosphäre die man aus Wimmelbildspielen dieser Art gewohnt und die ich so lieben gelernt habe, wird leider in regelmäßigen Abständen von vollkommen zusammenhangslosen Gesprächen, mit den mich wahrscheinlich noch lang in Alpträumen verfolgenden Charakteren, gestört. Zudem lassen die Spezialeffekte aus 1980 regelmäßig Raum für Verbesserungen. 6/10 man hat ne Ratte gekillt. Müsst ihr wissen PS: Habs noch n zweites Mal gespielt. Ist immernoch scheiße.
