Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A dark-fantasy RPG about breaking the boundary between worlds... and surviving what comes through.
Veilbreak is a story-driven JRPG where reality itself is beginning to fracture. Across the land, ancient seals are failing... and something from beyond is pushing its way in.
What begins as a desperate escape from a cult ritual quickly spirals into a world on the brink of invasion. Portals tear open without warning. Creatures not meant for this world slip through, And somewhere beyond the Veil... something far worse is waiting.
You’ll lead a party of unlikely heroes- each pulled into a conflict far bigger than themselves. As the fractures spread, so does the truth:
This isn’t just an invasion.
It’s a search.
And you are being hunted.
Travel across coastal cities, ancient spires, underground trenches, and forgotten ruins as you track the source of the breaches. From the vibrant streets of Azura Bay to the depths of corrupted temples, every region brings new threats... and new answers.
Face twisted guardians, Veil-touched monstrosities, and powerful entities slipping between worlds. Close the fractures. Survive the encounters, and uncover why the barrier between realms is breaking... and who-or what-is trying to tear it down completely.

This game is so overpriced for what it offers! The combat is good, but the dialogue is atrocious, the story is barebone and the characters (and character interactions) barely make any sense. The protagonist stole a stone used in a ritual and, in so doing, let some creatures from another dimension into his own and thus the story starts. The priest/shaman that was taking part in the ceremony is saved by the main character and joins him. Doesn't berate him for stealing the stone, doesn't want to take the stone for safekeeping, simply joins his group. They encounter a mage who isn't basically doing anything other than waiting for them outside of a dungeon, that, surprise surprise, they have to visit, so he joins. He barely knows what they're doing, but he just joins. After a short time, they meet somebody who's being attacked. They save him and he just joins. Guess what, he is part of an order that is devoted to fighting the creatures from the other dimension (so it's not that uncommon for those creatures to trespass? So it didn't really matter that much that the main character stole that stone?) Whatever, he just joins. He doesn't ask to take possession of the stone, he doesn't resent the main character for having stolen the stone and thus caused another one of those monsters invasion, nothing, he just joins. In the meantime, we're forced to read the horrible dialogue, made mostly of short quips (usually by the main character) ... I don't even want to waste any more time on this review. Basically, if you can appreciate a battle simulator and forget about the story, dialogue and characters, then maybe this is the game for you. Otherwise, I'd advise against buying this. Certainly at that ridiculously high price. To think that there are extremely underappreciated gems like Forever Home at less than 1/10th of this price! It's absurd!

Okay people. Yet another one from the Wolfs Moon Studios. Boy howdy is it a banger. Story so far is fantastic but the selling point to me is the whiddled down battle mechanics. All skills matter now. It seems to have taken some time for the dev to implement and balance that out and it works wonderfully. 100% would recommend.
Good story line and crafting a bit harder. great job shane keep it up looking forward for more games
my first review on steam.so here goes. veilbreak is one of wolfs moon studios finest rpg.lets begin with gameplay the gameplay is catchy very fun and fast turn based battles if you have played this creators games before you'll know what I mean I like the swift action in combat it gives you a free attack or heal the enemies drop crafting materials for you to craft weapons and armor with and sometimes they drop gear too you will find yourself not wanting to run or avoid fights at all because every fight means something.the characters have each individual unique personalities you will laught sometimes at some of crawls remarks.the story is pretty good but the thing is this game has a very in depth story brought to life by the npcs you meet and the campfire stories not to mention the characters tell you what they think too the game feels very novel like in the story telling like reading a book you will find yourself seeking out more of the story and sometimes the npcs tell stories of their own.no towns or castles are scarce on occupants. you even get a ship the enemy appearances are different this time and some of your abilities are too which is refreshing.the gametime you can get is about 40 plus hours if you are a completionist. do I recommend this game?HECK YES!!GO BUY IT MONEY WELL SPENT.
I always wait till I have played the game for a length of time before writing a review. Veilbreak is right up my alley, it is challenging but not to the point you get frustrated. The enemies give lots of loot and the crafting enables you to make awesome weapons and equipment. I really haven't had to use much money for gear or potions, that is so nice not having to grind forever just to get the stuff you need. The characters have a lot of depth to them and the story line is fantastic, you really get to know them and connect with them. The skiils each character has you use all of them, there are less of them and the ones you get you will use them all. This is yet another game by Wolfs moon studios that does not disappoint and is worth every penny. I like the veteran points you receive to allocate by your choosing to boost up the stats. The developer is hands on and quick to reply and fix any issues that arise. You can tell the amount of passion went into this game.
If you haven't played a Wolfs Moon game before: It's an RPGmaker game*, which means it's a turn-based RPG that structurally resembles the early Final Fantasy games. If you want a cinematic AAA experience with deep characterization, look elsewhere. If you want to wander around a landscape whacking monsters, picking up shiny objects, and making numbers go up, this is the stuff. It should run on a potato. *: (NOT the kind of porn RPGmaker game that Otaku Plan churns out) If you've played a Wolfs Moon game before: It's a Wolfs Moon game. There are some interesting developments in Shane's formula this time out. But it's a Wolfs Moon game, and you already know whether you'll enjoy it or not. I enjoyed it.
Only a few hours in and I can ALREADY tell this is another amazing entry to the game scene from this dev. I've loved all of their games that I've played so far and I'm sure if they keep putting as much effort into them as they have been I will love any more than come out just as much if not more! If you love oldschool RPGs as much as I do, this is another must have.
This is an exciting game. As RPGMaker games go, you can tell the dev paid special attention to make this one stand out. It has well balanced party characters, new and plentiful equipment, and the spells are very effective, and not the normal ones you see in these rpgs. The soundtrack is a pleasure to listen to. I normally turn down or mute game music, but not this game. I have already started a 2nd playthrough as we learn a lot from a full first playthrough. The dev is present on the discussion board and is the most helpful dev. His pride in making his games is obvious. I recommend this and all Wolf's Moon Studios games!
As usual another fantastic rpg from Shane of Wolfs Moon Studios. This game was well designed with a few good tweaks from his previous games. The music in certain locations was outstanding, giving a sometimes calming effect or an anxious effect. New creatures a plenty and the battle system was with the usual VE and plenty of skills. You choose a party of 4 characters (out of 6 possible selections), each character having their advantages and good points. An abundance of items, weapons, armor and money. The crafting system yielded some pretty good upgrades. Shane is constantly checking the discussion group and immediately fixes any possible bugs and answers all questions, which is a rarity from other rpg developers. Totally enjoyable rpg and highly recommended. Already hoping Shane is working on his next masterpiece.
