Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wasn't sure the Stand By Me meets vampires thing would work but this was another great tale and tied in nicely with the previous story.
Overall it is an enjoyable, short experience (you can get to the credits in under two hours). I would recommend it, especially when on sale, but there are a couple cons I want to point out: -The controls for the minigames are clunky. Not a huge deal, but there is a rhythm game that's a little annoying because of it. -The writing is overall good with two exceptions. The writer incorporates a lot of tropes seemingly because they think they're "supposed to," and the latter part of the game also feels rushed. Most of the game feels well placed, like they had been unpacking their bag one item at a time to give each room to breathe, but they then all of a sudden dumped the bag on the ground as if to say, "...and then the rest happened." Maybe they ran out of time or they lost motivation to give the remaining effort the game needed.

While this game seems to be the least scary out of all the Pixel Pulp games, I believe that it's also the most underrated. If I were to make a ranking, this would be my 2nd favorite, overshadowed only by Bahnsen Knights. What it lacks in explicit horror elements, it makes up with this overwhelming feeling of childlike wonder and camp. There is a sense of nostalgia, both in the portrayal of summer vacation our characters spent as children, contrasted with grey, mundane world of today, with broken promises and broken lives led them to meet each other once again. Despite it's idyllic nature, there is also a sense of dread and hidden horror, when it comes to the 1954 segments. You can feel, that there is something sinister moving behind the scenes, weather this would be Liszt's sinister stories, or the mysterious absence of Doug from modern day segments. The relationship between the characters and the vampire is a perfect combination of cheesy/childishly written and geniuinely heartfelt - something akin to Spielberg's E.T. and it's many imitators. Overall, you should give this game a try, and I hope that Pixel Pulp will keep on making varied and unique games, like this one.
It's so freaking good, maybe even better than Mothmen 1966. I love this world they've created, the recurring characters, the feeling of warm summer days with friends combined with the bleak horror of getting old and finding out things you're better off not knowing. Unforgettable story and the art is so good too, I took so many screenshots. I don't know whether to read their next story or reread this one... honestly the only thing holding me back from continuing is knowing I'll run out of their stories to read, and then what else is left???
