this game is very basic and i would go neutral because being basic isn't bad for some people but after playing i will not be getting the game but i'm still upvoting this because it could still appeal to others. here you get 2 battles (main game is 15) with all 3 of your characters (an archer and 2 melee). you get abilities to use outside your main attack and status effects that work a bit differently than most game as they are applied only after filling a bar from hits (2-3) from a weapon with said effect. reading the main games forums there are no job systems though i think the game it to short for it anyway. one thing that bothers me is having to use the arrow keys to move around the map. the story is about a rebellion after an invading force took measures to delete the protagonist religion and anyone who still followed it. the game is based off tactics ogre/final fantasy tactics (same devs) and the ogre battle games have always been very political. this story even reminds me of the grapples from ogre battle 64. if i do end up with this game i'll do a better review over there. for indie devs basic is ok if its done well and i can't judge that on only 2 levels.

A tactical RPG which looks like a port from Gameboy, with poor UI and controls, unfinished and unplayable. Good: - graphics, although pixelated, look cute So-so: - the tactical system looks okay though there is nothing explained. Just an example: what do stats like strength and stamina influence? Where does one look that up? Bad: - music is horrible. It uses classical instruments like a piano, violins etc which just don't fit with the retro-pixelated graphics style. And the compositions themselves are a pain to listen to - the controls are taken straight from Gameboy, with the mouse cursor slapped on. E.g. you can't just click to move (or attack). Instead you need to select "Move" from a menu that appears on the right, then click on the tile. Also, the UI elements are huge (because the game was probably supposed to run on a tiny screen of a phone or a handheld device) and sometimes overlap the enemy you want to attack. - you can't even bring up a menu to exit the game. Had to Alt+F4 - the endless dialogs appear letter-by-letter, that's very annoying. Whole text should appear at once. Whatever this is, it's not playable on PC. It requires a complete redesign of the controls and the UI. This was way too short to know if it was worth playing. If this is a prologue, how short is the whole game? I would like to have seen more; because I was considering getting this one. Such the shame.

Properly executed pixel art turn based tactics rpg with an interesting story.
