Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed Detroit so I gave it a shot. No way dude. Everything is low quality and the characters are not believable or even remotely likeable.
Picked this up at a 90% discount. After playing for a few minutes...It feels like a fair price.
Cringe inducing, nails on chalkboard experience! One of the contenders for the worst game ever made. Just don't try it like I did and learn the hard way.

I could talk about the horrible dialogs and very very VERY slow movement and weird feeling disconected controls, tbh I didnt make it too far. Using focus during a dialog is horrible and does not work half the time, which is a problem for a key mechanic. How is someone asking 50 bucks for this piece of garbage is beyond me.
Welcome to Vampire The Masquerade: HR Edition! One of the most uninspired, boring, janky, ugly and miserable story experiences I've ever had in a game. Dustborn has better writing, pacing, storytelling and gameplay than this. The game has DEI and characters that would make Sweet Baby Inc blush, and that was my favorite part. Every time another fat weird looking freak of nature character walked in I would smile and think "Finally! I get to enjoy some cringe!" Then they started talking. And boy. It's bad. Really really bad. Every dialog feels AI generated. It's boring. None of the characters really have any motivation to do anything. It's like they're all on antidepressants or something. The story is held together by hopes and dreams. Every time you start to question the narrative it just falls apart. Here's an example:
at one point Emem gets trapped by Tremere vampires in a dream magic realm, when she gets out she gets confronted by them and they tell her that they lost 3/4ths of all their members (that's a lot!) because 3/4ths of all of their members went to a party where they got killed. Now I don't know about you guys but I thought tremere guys had magic powers and stuff but whatever, that's not the point. The tremere guys are pissed and tell Emem that they want to reneg on the original deal they had made with the prince of Boston to purify blood and that they want more now. Keep in mind, these doofuses just admitted that they lost THREE QUARTERS OF THEIR MEMBERS. So King Doofus Tremere demands that Emem renegotiate the deal with them. Without the prince or anyone else present. So Emem of course offers them A NEIGHBORHOOD IN BOSTON. ON BEHALF OF THE PRINCE. Emem isn't even high ranking at this point. It's baffling how insane the logic of the Tremere and Emem is in the scene. How does the Tremere think the prince would even hold up the bargain that they made with a lesser underling? Well, whatever, once Emem made the deal they IMMEDIATELY START PACKING UP THEIR THINGS AND MOVING INTO BOSTON. Screw logic and common sense.
The gameplay is non-existent and involves you jankily walking around the world and interacting with business documents (yes, really! It is exactly as exciting as it sounds), keycards and objects while your avatar is making comments. At one point you walk into a child's bedroom and find a camera laying suspiciously next to the bed and the character just goes "wow I didn't know she was so interested in photography! :)" It's a 3/10 game. The only reason why it's not 1/10 is because it takes about 16 hours to beat. So if you want to go through an extremely painful experience this is the perfect game for you. Think of it like a challenge akin to dragging your nuts through broken glass.
Bugged, awkward controls and mechanics, not worth your time.
Objectives can be pretty buggy and can't be completed at times. Sometimes getting a second chance in dialogue options is meaningless because the remaining options result in failure. The dialogue audio during "cut scenes" is directional and pretty offputting. - There's times where the camera stays on your character when someone else is talking and you can't hear them very well because of the distance between the two (lot of times where I'm just trying to listen out of my right ear) - No sound option to fix that. There's no real emotion whether the characters are expressing something heartfelt, angry or depressing. - At all times, the characters just have blank expressions on their faces. Some of the achievements are pretty touchy. - There's a few that you need to complete the requirements for then complete the game from that point on. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I love vampire games and couldn't believe the reviews could be true but that might've been a mistake. It can still be a bit of fun, you just need to see through the flaws but definitely wouldn't recommend buying at full price.
I should have 'listened' to the comments.. but I took a chance.. and should have played it sooner (in order to get a refund!).. this game is an absolute DEI ♥♥♥♥ show.. real cringe! and as much as it annoys me even this early in the game, I will force myself to play it a little longer, just to see how bad it gets to start, the graphics are poor.. animation is trash, and so far the dialog is atrocious.. how anyone could think this is a 'good game' is beyond me.. but then there is the fact that it has no save, and the skills are RNG heavy and it feels like the game is on rails.. you 'automatically' fail conversations and you've only just started! I have no doubt I wont be able to finish this trash.. it feels absolutely pathetic. do NOT buy it
I played this game only because I'm a huge Vampire: The Masquerade fan, and I enjoyed it a lot!! I thought the story was very fitting for the setting and I loved seeing things like what a Camarilla headquarters might actually look like. I loved seeing how they integrated the lore into the world and nerding out a little bit through that. I do think this game should have been polished more before release. The facial animations are a good example because it's a game all about deduction and socialization and yet the facial animations are horrible (luckily I got used to it quickly but still). Same with the way you have to position your mouse juusstt right to click on what you want. It didn't personally bother me much, but it's noticeable regardless. I must have gotten lucky that the only bugs I experienced were very minor, not game-breaking whatsoever. I did encounter one bug (at least I think it was a bug?) where I couldn't find a character in one of the very late scenes, but luckily he wasn't vital. None of this bothered me enough to sour me on this game.
