Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Awesome combination of tactical and turn based strategy, though with short story it focuses on the protagonist development
janky but gud
Nearly two decades later, and this game holds up so well. I definitely came around to playing this game well after release, but that didn't negatively impact how much I enjoyed it at all. The game is a fantasy military sim RPG with several aspects loosely inspired by World War 2, and while the game is generally light-hearted for the gravity of its content, it does do a good job of showing the atrocities of war. I really enjoyed the storytelling, and moreso, the execution of it. The gameplay was challenging but felt really rewarding when you managed to bang out an A-rank. It was really cool playing the different archetypes and utilizing their unique aspects (though it's amusing how by the end of the game, with the use of Orders, Scouts and Shocktroopers are better tank destroyers than Lancers, ha). I found myself constantly making my way through a mission and thinking of how I would approach it differently for the A-rank. The game is also amusing with its ridiculous antics, like going to snipe someone across the entire map and then having them conveniently dip to the ground and dodge the sniper bullet. Yeah, okay Neo. Or the amount of times I was so laser-focused on getting to a point that I missed the hidden-in-plain-sight mine directly in my path. The graphics are gorgeous, and in my opinion, hold up incredibly well today. And the music, from Hitoshi Sakimoto, is absolutely amazing, though I'd expect no less from such a great composer. If anything suffered due to age, I would suggest that it was the menu navigation which was a little janky to work with, and some crashes/odd issues that appear to be related to trying to play the game at 4K, or at a higher framerate. For anyone picking this up to play these days, I recommend playing at a resolution no higher than 1440p (you can use Borderless Gaming or something to resize it to full screen) and at a 60fps framerate, as the game WILL crash at 4K and the game gets some weird behaviour past 60fps. Even at 60fps, there's an unusual physics collision that prevents you from doing the 2nd final mission correctly unless you lower it to 30fps. While these were frustrating to contend with for the first (and last) couple hours of the game, once I realized how to fix the issue I had no issues otherwise.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Peak. Especially for 5 dollars. Get it if you like tactics games it is amazing. 100% a great pickup on sale.
I really liked this game. Only sad thing is that it is too short and new game+ carry over everything so makes it pointless.

this is a Sega Masterpiece, it was created decade ago, in PS3 era, but the Gameplay is what make this game is Amazing, the graphics is Anime style cel shading style, it looks very good even to the PS5 era, you create your own Squad, consist of 20 member, each member has their own personality, trait, friends, perks, there are 5 type of soldier, Scout, Trooper, Lancer (Grenadier), Sniper and Support, and your commander drive a Tank, turn based strategy of it's own playstyle, a must have game
VERY GOOD GAME, JANE OP. wish the missions were better designed tho. Lot of the missions require constant save scumming just cause they are not explained properly.
I imagine I wasn't the only one tempted to quit the game immediately when the opening story scene—introducing one of the main characters—showed a man casually chatting with fish in front of other people. Unfortunately, the fish don't respond to his conversational topics, likely finding the guy too annoying. Oh, right. Apparently, there’s an imminent threat of war poised to devastate this bucolic fantasy setting, but there’s no rush! The world is colorful and packed with clichés. Shortly after (literally minutes later), once a brief misunderstanding is cleared up, Imperial Army scouts clad in full plate armor appear out of nowhere, revealing their positions and gunning down the poor civilians who were leaving the frontier village where the story begins. Our heroes (including the fish-talker), organized into a sort of militia, take up arms and decide to confront the faceless villains. Naturally, they slaughter the enemies without mercy and with enviable competence. The peaceful, friendly villagers turn out to be cold-blooded killers capable of dissociating from the violence with unbelievable ease; moments later, they head back to the village happy and carefree, as if nothing had happened. One would expect that the horror of suddenly being dragged into a deadly confrontation against forces that announced their arrival by murdering an entire family right before your eyes—followed by the shock of surviving your first-ever combat experience, and then the looming threat of an all-out war likely to devastate your hometown and claim the lives of most people you know—would cause some degree of unease... But no. Just casual conversation and lighthearted jokes. THEY EVEN MAKE BREAD! And you can bet they don't waste a second before starting to romanticizing war, complete with all the melodrama and theatricality you’d expect. "Do you think love can bloom, even on a battlefield?" That empire must be severely underfunded, considering a bunch of ragtag nobodies—armed with crude rifles and wearing no protective gear—can wipe them out without breaking a sweat... But oh, wait! Here they come again, shelling this village that holds absolutely no strategic or military importance, killing civilians for no reason—again. Because they’re just evil. Get it? Maybe the protagonist will get involved in this because those guys killed all the fish. Also, for some reason, there were no troops garrisoning the border between the two countries, but whatever... Ultimately, it seems like a pretty stupid story that takes itself very seriously—yet the material itself makes it impossible to care. It’s a completely sanitized, romanticized war story, full of hollow idealism that’s instantly apparent, all wrapped in a very generic art style. Anime in general has this knack for taking serious subjects, stripping them of all meaning, and turning them into something incredibly dumb and boring. I think that’s the case here. There might be something worthwhile buried amidst the many over-written cutscenes—which share space with tactical JRPG gameplay that blends real-time and turn-based mechanics. However, I suspect the gameplay lacks depth beyond simply picking the right unit to eliminate specific threats—almost like a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Still, it’s a WWII-inspired tactical JRPG, which makes the concept interesting in theory—provided you can get past the cringe factor. The game looks well-made, at least, so I’ll dig a little deeper to see if the gameplay hooks me. Who knows? Maybe the story will turn things around and actually get interesting. (I'm not actually recommending it. I just wrote this for fun.)
