Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good story and characters but the port could be done alot better. Got turned off after 10 mins of having to fight the controls to move the tank from one position to the next. On the other hand the world design and style is second to none, learned alot of design elements from this game. If you have a playstation, play it on that instead or try VC4 (hopefully the controls are better there)

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Frustrating, ornery, and technically obstreperous; but with an unbeatable charm and unique style that'll keep you coming back for more.
Conceptually, this game is pretty cool. Think Fire Emblem but with WW1 and third person controls when you're using individual units. At a surface level it seems to offer a lot of complexity. Positioning, cover, etc. matters. I would normally l0ove to play a game like this. The problem is that when you take your turn, enemies keep shooting you the entire time. For example, and enemy ran right next to one of my characters and shot him at point blank range, wounding him heavily but not killing. On my turn I decide to have that guy take his turn and finish off the enemy since he's also at point blank range and low on HP. But nope, as soon as I'm in control of the dude the enemy right next to him keeps shooting for a microsecond even though its not his turn and kills me before I can aim my gun. Its a very bizarre problem. Its like the devs didn't know what kind of game they wanted to make. The enemies are playing a third person shooter with unlimited shots per turn and you're playing a slow, tactical SRPG with one attack per turn. What ends up happening is you're trying to take your turn as fast as possible (like an action game) which makes it hard to carefully think through your actions like you would want to do in a normal SRPG. You can easily die because you took too long to decide what to do or because you didn't hit ESC fast enough at the end of the turn, so you kept getting shot for a half second or two after making your move. I have literally no idea how the devs thought the game could be played like this. If you can somehow get past that annoyance there are still more problems. I found the graphical style to be pretty ugly, its like a sketchbook design that looks very washed out and scratchy. The cutscenes are also very grainy and pixelated. Graphics aren't normally the most important thing in a game to me but these are worse than games that came out in the same era. Combined with the fact that the controls on PC are clunky, awkward, and clearly not designed for mouse, and I suspect this was a poor console port.
小时候看这集的时候馋哭了 实际到手的时候都成复古风了(汗 除去缺少汉化的部分之外的都相当不错(老作品里面难得的比较新的玩法 可考虑打折时入手,性价比很高
I fell in love with this game on PS3, so the Windows release was a real treat. Sure you can cheese your way through combat sometimes, but overall solid gameplay here
Valkyria Chronicles is an excellent strategy game with simple but deep gameplay, with great characters & chemistry but a poorly executed story. Pros: Gameplay, there's a variety of ways to get through missions depending on squad comps, given that the game gives you a whole lotta tools to have fun with. Not to mention the great customization the game offers, with meaningful upgrades to nearly every weapon/unit in the game. Additionally the characters are all great archetypes, and their chemistry is up there with other works about military units (saving private ryan, 008th MS team, etc). Cons: ffs stylistically and in it's execution, how can a game about whats basically WW2 be so un-gritty. it does no favors for the overarching vibes of the game lol, especially when your character says a goofy oneliner after headtapping an enemy. Depictions of horror are kinda hard to take seriously cuz of how goofy some of the design choices were lol. In spite of the bad, gameplay is still solid, and there is definitely a vision with the story, while not executed properly, is still fairly satisfying.
Fire Emblem and Sniper Elite had a glorious incestuous baby and i love it!
Geneva suggestion simulator
This game is nearly perfect if you can stomach the abrasive anime melodrama.
