About

You wake up by the side of the road with a headache and a stranger's jacket.
You don’t recognise it. You don’t recognise the man whose ID you find in the pocket, either.
So why does an older version of you stare back when you turn on his phone?
...And why is she smiling beside him?

Unquiet Grey is a visual novel about love and grief. It features:
An emotional love story wrapped in a timeloop tragedy. Over 11k words or around an hour of love and heartbreak.
Gorgeous original art. Watch the story come to life through beautiful illustrations by Asrielle, creator of the webcomic Queen's Trial. An in-game camera mode allows for easy viewing.
An original soundtrack that combines soft guitar and an indie rock feel.
A nameable protagonist and love interest. Customise the experience or leave names as default.
An adorable doggo
A silver-haired sweetheart to love over and over and over. You can't save him. But that's okay. You'll just go back and see him again. And again and again-

Unquiet Grey by Endysis is an emotionally charged story of love. The choices and the effects of those choices on a person/couple are totally relatable and believable in their effects on them. The art is beautiful. It portrays the events and emotions so exquisitely. The music is enchanting and it fits the moments in the story perfectly. The story is told but the words are not wasted. It is a finely crafted tale. It does not become monotonous in its presentation, which could have happened with the time loops. The story becomes complete in the end. You will be touched by it. I recommend Unquiet Grey wholeheartedly.
If you know ENDYSIS, then you know what you're in for, good storytelling, good writing and a good squeeze of your heart through words, good music and pictures. If you don't know ENDYSIS, lucky you, you have more stories to discover than I do now, go, play that VN !

That was a gorgeous, heart-wrenching journey of love and loss. 10/10 would sob through it again.
Eng and Pt-BR review
A música é boa, a arte é boa, o enredo é de romance drama, mas é um pouco curto. O enredo começa legal com um mistério e logo se torna um loop, eu não sou muito fã de loops, pelo menos os loops são rápidos e a mensagem final é legal.

The music is good, the art is good, and the plot is a romantic drama, though it is a bit short. The story starts off nicely with a mystery but soon turns into a loop; I’m not a huge fan of loops, but at least they move quickly, and the final message is nice.
Once again, Endysis shows us how beautiful, emotionally impacting stories are done. A short, yet very heartgripping story about grief, told with beautiful music, great artwork, good direction and a lot of heart that shows in the story's writing. The credit song hit me especially hard. I also really enjoyed the little details, like the viewfinder sperspective and that the frame subtly moves when you move the mouse. On a side note though - I have to say, even amidst the emotionally gripping story, the little throw-in of "The Last Winter Knight" soundtrack still managed to get a chuckle out of me. Genius!
Short little VN that brings the feels. Thank you for giving this little gem away for free.
Game is short and sweet, until you're sobbing into your hands. Illustrations are beautiful, music is beautiful, story is beautiful and I'll never be able to play it again.
"So I cried. Doesn't make me less of a man." - Kazuma Kiryu (Even though I'm not a man lol) I did cry, though. And not only have very few games made me cry, but very few works of fiction in general. And I'm a very emotional person, and I immerse myself. That was heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, tear-jerking. It was definitely more impactful for me, as I have found a partner I love very dearly. She found me at the perfect time, on the verge of ending it. She saved me. I would absolutely suffer an eternity of repeating lives for her.
This is one of the most beautiful visual novel games I have ever played. Thank you to Endysis for letting me play this game. I loved how you turned grief into a beautifully written story about having no choice but to let go of someone as the biggest form of love. I loved how the story repeats itself again, but you get to choose different outcomes each time. Yet again, I am so glad I played this game. Keep up the good work Endysis.
"’T is I, my love, sits on your grave, And will not let you sleep; For I crave one kiss of your clay-cold lips, And that is all I seek.” “You crave one kiss of my clay-cold lips, But my breath smells earthy strong; If you have one kiss of my clay-cold lips, Your time will not be long." An innovative take on an old poem. However, the achievements give away the core setting (time loop), and the story is somewhat plain and predictable.
