Fun little forgotten puzzle exploration game.
this game is great you should really get it is a fun short $10.00 game that you should pick up sale or no sale. if you like robots, futuristic things and puzzles you will LOVE this game you should definitely pick this game.
It definitely has mechanics
Unmechanical is a mechanically sound game that unfortunately doesn't often push to do much with its mechanics. It's a very gamey game. There is little in the way of a story, you are simply a small robot who was above ground, and has been pulled below. Seemingly, then, your objective is to return to the surface. This is the only character motivation you have to work with, and Unmechanical leans much more on the puzzles than it does on narrative. In spite of this, the puzzles aren't too often particularly inspired. By the point you reach a literal "Simon Says" colour matching game, it becomes clear that the developers were running short of ideas. This is a shame, seeing as Unmechanical has a decent physics engine, and some of the puzzles- mainly those that actually use it - are pretty decent. Memory puzzles just become fiddly with the mechanics of the game, having to fly drunkenly between buttons and switches to put sequences in order. To quickly summize: P O S I T I V E S

The graphics look very polished and unique. The intro sequence is great fun to watch, feeling almost reminiscent of the opening to Fight Club in terms of energy and flow, albeit with considerably less intensity.
The soundtrack is very well put together and tonally appropriate. In many places, the synths are reminiscent of the works of Boards of Canada, a highly influential experimental electronic duo from Scotland. As a fan of their work, Unmechanical's soundtrack was very enjoyable to listen to.
Unmechanical is rather atmospheric, and its atmosphere is unique.
N E G A T I V E S

The puzzles are lacking in numerous places, and have a tendency to be a little fiddly on account of the game's mechanics. Most aren't particularly challenging, and can be passed within a couple of minutes.
The game only lasts a couple of hours, adding on perhaps an hour for DLC.
Unmechanical isn't impossible to recommend, it's just a very soft recommendation. There are other puzzle games out there which venture to do more with their physics and mechanics. 6/10

PEAK
Жаль, короткая. Даже с учетом дополнения. Хотелось бы еще. Unmechanical 2, например ? :)
Great Game, Graphics Hold Up, Gameplay Is Fun. Tragically Short. Worth A Buy
👍 I don't want to write a review for this game, but I do want to give this game a thumbs up to help the games ratings because I enjoyed my experience with it 👍
Great game
I tried half an hour to find out how controls are working...no success. Also the highest resolution is 1080p.
Far too puzzle oriented for me, but if you like puzzles this is probably a good fit.
